  • A gt1030 gpu isn’t good enough to play destiny. Way below minimum specs

  • I havent had issues playing at full screen 30fps but i have issues with ram and my HDD, need to update to ssd, regardless, game runs fine for me and thats not the issue i have atm something related to connections from my pc to steam to destiny, this issue as i stated happened from night to morning and i play destiny since season 16th, i was lv 150 last season, and im close to be that level in the current one, 600h playing d2 in total and this is to say i can play d2 and i have experienced many of the things d2 has to offer, and now this issue is not allowing me to play at all

  • At some point updates likely made your card not work. Your only option would be to update your gpu

  • Your point would be valid... If the actual issue was his GPU. A BROCOLLI error would make sense. But I doubt, even if his GPU is old, it would cause such an issue or else PS4/Xbox user would be constantly crashing. If you truly think his GPU is an issue, care to explain a bit more your reasoning? Cause, to me, what you said... makes no sense when we are talking about major networking issue.

  • PS4 has a better gpu than a gt 1030 in fact it’s more like a gtx 1050 in terms of performance. A gt 1030 is weaker than some intel cpu integrated graphics cards and are actually meant for mobile performance over full games like destiny. If the player was able to get away with what they were doing at 720p 30fps for this long then they were very fortunate. This game recommends a 770 or higher. Which is 150% faster than the gt 1030.

  • Again, you avoid the main topic. I've never saw a GPU causing a networking issue. If you truly think that his GPU is the cause of such errors, elaborate on this.

  • If a system is weak enough and hangs it can hang network cards before the gpu itself gives a crash report. Because of the way destiny works and it boots back to the main screen and shows an error it will show a network error before a gpu error. The player listed their dxdiag so I assumed the gpu hanging was causing an overall system hang. Since the player compensated with lower resolution and frame rate the system hangs are coming from somewhere else in the system but could be directly caused from the gpu. System crashes so weird things on older systems especially with how unoptimized destiny is now

  • If that was the case, he wouldn't have been able to play at all since. As he said, he as over 600 hours ingame. This came up recently. Pretty sure the cause is either ISP or internet being just bad. I had a recent issue, which cause Destiny 2 to just not launch. Moment I loaded Nessus, it made my whole pc crash. After rebooting, Destiny would just crash immediately. Checked every possible outcome till I reinstalled Destiny 2 fully. Pretty sure there was a backdoor update or something that cause a crash (And that was today).

  • Or maybe the Nvidia driver you are using... 516.xx are bad for Destiny 2.

  • If it was a back door thing then it could have even been a windows thing causing the issue

  • Then explain me this: Why I can't load into anything either? It takes SEVERAL attempt before I can load in. PS: I got a Rig that runs Cyberpunk at max setting. PRetty sure it isn't my GPU, nor CPU nor my drivers.

  • I wasn’t here to troubleshoot your system nor did you provide me any dxdiag or system specs to help me so how would I know. I know a lot of the recent issues were caused by bad video drivers. Everyone’s system is different even high end systems might even need a bios update or might have a drive corruption causing issues. I’m not a wizard and can see why your system can’t load the game. I have a 1070ti and 8700k and do maintenance on my system constantly except for video drivers because I know they can suck. I run programs that clean my drives on a weekly basis and take care of my system. I would hazard a guess 90% of this community doesn’t have even learn how to maintain their system, or even turn their pc off every night like they should. Nah they just blame the company because individuals should receive premium attention without doing their own work…
