I love the idea of crafting in theory and getting red boarders and completing them is satisfying, but most of the time the process of unlocking the shape takes so much time that by the time I shape the weapon I have no desire to level it as I already have a decent rolled version of the weapon. I think there should be enclave bounties that provide xp towards crafted weapon levels. To go even further, other bounties could count towards weapon leveling as well, lets say you have a calus mini tool thats crafted, if you have a bounty that calls for smg kills as you complete that bounty with calus mini tool you gain additional weapon. progress as you complete the smg bounty. Also this is completely unrelated but please start putting legendary weapon ornaments in the seasonal pass it would be very cool 😎
