Anyone having issues booting D2 on PC?
I'm all of a sudden having issues the last 2-3 weeks getting D2 to boot on my rig. It will launch the app and get hung up during the animated loading menu's quite a bit. I can get in every now and then after multiple failed attempt but this is getting frustrating. trying to find out if it's a game/platform or personal issue. I play on Steam (Tried uninstalling and re-installing this morning. Still no change. Any thoughts?

Same here. My game freezes on the loading screen. Task manager doesn’t say anything’s wrong and after about 3 restarts it works fine til I close the game. Started last week

Edited by TEKnowledgy: 7/2/2022 3:08:22 AMNo issues here, I'm on pc steam windows 10 10th gen intel paired with rx580 using march 31st 2022 drivers. Game installed on non-OS SSD. Runs as it should menus and game even boots up like you'd expect a game to. As for thoughts couldn't tell ya you really don't offer up any system or OS info hard to troubleshoot without system info. Could be anything based on what info you have gave us. Edit i see below comments you solved it. Glad you fixed it take care.

At start, first thing i see is black screen with nothing but my system cursor on it. Left click minimizes the game, so i have to click on Destiny icon in the taskbar for the game to start normally. Other than that, it's all good.

6 RepliesThe new Nvidia driver update does not work well with D2 for some reason. Revert it back to 512.95

Any thoughts?[/quote] I’m on the PS5 & have been having the good old “Contacting Destiny Servers” with my GB internet connection. I know it’s not the same but your aren’t alone in connection issues!

2 RepliesSame, and I played just yesterday. It says "unable to sync [saves with Steam cloud]" (this is a Steam pop up notification). Very weird. Maybe try go to Steam Library, Destiny, right click, properties, local files, verify integrity of game files. I'll try it, but is a slow process. Anyway, never seen some like that.
