Allo there,
Bungie doesn't get involved with clans unless they break the CoC. They won't make someone else a founder. Only the current founder can promote someone new to founder.

I figure most account creations Would /Could have account reset or change password/email option available? But What if we are willing to show prove of course. Because i can see how people Would maybe lie. I am in touch with the remaining family member and Would appreciate to have their legacy live on as the person devoted most of their life to this game until the end, unfortunately that person was a legacy of another and they were every to that person. Can they consider implementing a system , requirements and process for these type of unique circumstances. Because only people that care so much Would be willing to jump through hoops for Anything to make it work.

What if it's a unique circumstance where the user " no longer present" to make changes but out of respect and memory of the user ,would like to keep the user's account still included. I've seen bungie go above and beyond for their fans . It Would mean a lot if you if are able ask higher up for this kind of situation and request. Is it possible to try something?

Unfortunately many have asked and it has never been granted. Bungie has no access to that users account so they can't do it for them nor can they do it from their side. This is mainly due to a security feature as anyone could say that the founder hasn't logged in for a while and ask for it to be changed. This goes for the same for those who want a clan name that's in use but the founder is not active.

After of course explaining the unique circumstances along with providin ,proof and evidence for their reason/case That way, that be an alternative solution without changing every clan systems settings(hopefully ) that way their legacy can continue to live on But What if we are willing to show prove of course. What you are asking for is a change of liability. When it comes to clans/groups members of the site are always the ones liable and responsible for their own clans and groups. If Bungie were to implement something like you’re suggesting, they would also need to adopt a process and access to personal information on accounts they do not have access to. That would be a change in privacy policy, as well as new user agreement. Then, you can the challenge of actually validating something like this. All of this requires development resources and time. So the question is simply is it worth pouring resources into this for such a small minority of users — or — just letting users be responsible for their own decisions. The ladder is the direction Bungie has gone on this. Even if you provide your “proof”, Bungie has nothing to cross check it against on their end without data collection. In the end — it simply boils down to Bungie having no way to validate what you’re saying is the reason, as someone could be lying to claiming it to be the case. You could provide the proof all you want and that doesn’t change. You could make a feedback thread in the companion forum, but there are a lot of reasons Bungie would avoid creating such a process. Last note : the account creation/password reset that you’re asking for is from the platform provider (Sony/Steam/Microsoft/Google), Bungie does not provide a login of their own.

Well what About the idea to enable admins to have founder features or something like that . I know you mentioned members are liable . But it Would be very help to have something in place to solve this dilema . Like maybe having founder confirm /authenticate or authenticate for every cycle period of time to ensure each's founder is active/inactive. And if unable to confim question or something for a certain time period .Could automatically do Transition of Leadership and automatically transfers over to the next most active player in roster they are unable to select one. Im certain there more players Out there in similar situation but they ,didnt speak up , unable to figure out /not how to get help with the issue and gave up cause there no direct contact for support or department I just wish you guys could provide more options to further help with these kind issues and for clan related stuff . I hope there something , it be really great. I'm really determined to find something/Anything for options to figure this thing out out I read feedback forum from one player who had similar issue and reached out to thr developers and they made it so he able to fix the dilema of the absent user without having to depart from the clan. The game and clan was on the game for Warframe i know different Game but i guess there is something similar on clan structure or system that aligns similar to D2. That issues/question really sounded it was meant For destiny 2. The guy just reach out and explained the situation developers and after some process or investigation he was made a founder and solved his issue. It just sounded hopeful that person getting that help for that similar situation. Is there possible for change or add contingency plans? Or do i have to get enough attention % responses on this topic from community to be even considered?
