It was much more fun and appealing.
Heroic Lost Sectors should be designed for sunset legendaries, specific vaulted loot drops and farmable exotics collectively.
However, I would like to add that using both systems whether it is the “wild” concept or the “Heroic LS” concept for exotics should be granted for any player who enjoys either.
It is the same as wanting optional matchmaking and in game LFG for some while keeping the current LFG platform systems for others.

If you are talking about only new exotic drops, then yes they should be added to the already massive pool of potential exotics from every single activity in this game that rewards a legendary item. Lost sectors are awful for getting rolls on a specific armor you already have, really wish they would drop 2 unique exotics at least or add focusing for a specific exotic, still the best way the devs have added exotic farming. So I’d be pained if lost sectors were removed. Old system had more flaws than current with exception of new exotics being in the world pool Edit: after seeing some other posts here and your feedback, dude getting new exotics is incredibly forgiving with lost sectors vs the world pool. We have like 3x the exotics of destiny 1 minimum, and the chances of getting an exotic you don’t already have is almost 0. It’s random, like so incredibly random you won’t ever find more than 2 new exotics a season. Lost sectors have an increasing odds of acquiring armor you don’t have before giving you duplicates, the acquisition of duplicates are the problem, not the acquisition of new exotics, my mind cannot be swayed
