So, Iron Banner finished and the system for earning reputation is very good. Making it now useful to keep armour pieces, or at least transmog some of the old armour to make a new set which allows players to earn rep faster.
My proposal is this: put that system in the three other core modes. So Crucible (outside of Banner), Gambit, and Strikes. It doesn't have to be as crazy as Banner, but at least allow us to boost our rep gains by wearing ornaments from the mode, running weapons to change things up, and maybe an emblem if you feel like it.
However, that would basically remove the need for double reputation weeks, seeing as people could just throw on a set and boost it whenever they wanted. I believe this would be a good change, seeing as it would allow players to have more freedom with the mode they want to play, without feeling forced to grind one mode to get rewards the fastest, or wait potentially two weeks for their favorite mode to have the boost.
In short, I think the Iron Banner armour, weapon, and emblem reputation boost should go to the three core modes. It would make things so much easier, and incentivise people to keep the armour or at least branch out with their fashion.
(Plus, it would make the grind for some guns a lot easier)
