Predictions for S17 and beyond
Looking at the lore which dropped in WQ, we can guess that we will have a season focused around Rasputin, a season around Calus's return, and a season about Erimis.
My prediction is S17 will focus on us teaming up with Anna and Mithrax to enter Rasputins mindscape. There we will work to remove the Witness corruption and rebuild his mind. Meanwhile as the season progresses we will see Anna make progress on Rasputins physical exo body and the season will end with Rasputin being upload into the body. Also I predict we will see Arc 3.0 in S17 given the mind spear was a taste of arc 3.0, and skip grenades were nerfed. Also trespasser is arc and we know that will return. The dungeon that will launch will have us clear the warmind bunker under shaxxs castle.
S18 we will see Calus return as a disciple along with the leviathan and we will manage to kill him with the aid of Mara and Ciatal. Ciatal may die and come back as the 1st cabal guardian.
S19 the Witness will revive Erimis and she will become the next disciple. She will then lead the Witness forces on an assault of the last city as part of light fall.

We'll realize the traveler has always been the villian and guardians will unite with all species except vex to defeat it once and for all. Then vex will do some avengers shenangans and reboot the whole thing and we'll be back in the cosmodrome and the witness will be the new speaker.

6 RepliesI would be surprised if it wasnt solar, because of the new Airborne effectiveness changes coming next season. I feel like the told us already in giant pvp sandbox Twab... During that giant sandbox twab they specifically said. " if you want good Airborne Effectiveness.... run a subclass Aspect, Fragment, or ability, " Right before that they highlighted the two solar sub classes, and Stasis getting airborne effectiveness buffs. The Heat Rises ability The Tempered Metal The Whisper of Herons So next season were getting airborne effectiveness, and they said if we want to improve we could use are aspects, fragments or abilities. Then they buffed the solar subclass, specifically for airborne effectiveness in the same twab

10 RepliesSolar 3.0 comes out on Tuesday with a big Well nerf. We do something similar to your Anna/Rasputin/Mindscape idea but it happens in the engram or something more "technical". I think the Fanatic comes up here as well. (Mithrax is going to do something with Saint, I'm pretty sure, so he's gonna be else where) Cabal season where Calus returns and we have to get Ciatals help to deal with that. A Fallen Season where Erimas comes back and Mithrax helps us deal with that. But we fail all 3 in someway and The Witness builds his own "Team" that we end up battling against in Light Fall.
