Unable to slide after blink charges ran out
When a player runs out of blink charges and blink is on cooldown, attempting to slide while sprinting will result in the player crouching instead.

Yea Bungie doesn't care about blink. What you mentioned is only a part of the problem which is blink needs a buff that cool down is too long and radar should not disappear when jumping no other jump does that. Don't get me started on the hit box stretching to like three times it's size when blinking. In D1 it was a better jump rip.
