Flawless Iron Banner

Is this a good idea?

You should be able to get a flawless card from Saladin. Different cards based on different Iron Lords names that will have different requirements to go “flawless” Example win 7 games in a row, get 20 kills without dying, etc etc. doing this will allow you to go to felwinter peak to claim your adept IB chest. Sounds like a great idea to me. Id you go flawless on the same character twice, you go back to felwinter peak and select a Iron Lord statue. The statue will move opening a secret room with another chest. This time d1 Iron Banner loot. This can be collected infinite times as long as you keep getting your cards full. I think this would make everything so much more fun. D1 iron banner armor, was in all honesty, absolutely -blam!-. Not to mention that the weapons, pre-rise of iron and during, just felt and looked so much better than what we have now. There should also be an iron forge to craft these weapons just like the enclave.

  • They don’t need to even go that far with it to make everything better. They should just do random drops and bounties for adept weapons and just do cosmetics, titles, or a ranking for flawless stuff. That’s all they need to do. Maybe that’s tougher to do than I think it is, but I would think it’s easier than creating a new lighthouse experience. I don’t play activities with adept loot because I play solo. When I get killed by an adept weapon or by a player using armor with an extra mod slot, I don’t feel like I lost the fight to someone better than me. I think putting more adept weapons in the game will encourage more 1v1 fights, get way more new players in the pool, and will make the cosmetics or a ranking number mean more. You’ll know that the person with a high ranking number or certain armor set fought a bunch of people with the same guns to get it. If you drop more adept weapons from a bounty or random drops, Bungie could probably stop paying for 3rd party anti-cheat and the connections will get better too. The game is not a competitive game anyways, so Bungie created the cheating/recovery problems. I play Destiny solo for fun, so I usually just drop into Control/Iron Banner for PvP. I think the current weapon system is laughable because it promotes unbalance and is not friendly at all to new players. Giving solo players more access to adept weapons would bolster any solo/freelance activity. Just saw it with Trials Freelance again. It’s not rocket science.
