Community managers out there, I would love to get a answer on this question, its been up in the air for a long time by a lot of the "PvE" players in the community.
Why is it that Bungie hasn't fixed the "API" for Raids yet, now you have to do (VoW) Fresh without any wipes or else it doesn't count as full clear even if it is a Fresh clear meaning (start to finish), it will instead say (checkpoint clear).
Btw the spawn point before Rhulk is so weirdly put in the game for some reason, you can't pull ahead people that hasn't reached the Rhulk encounter, they need to make it to the platform or the whole team needs to wipe because the respawn is at the end of relic encounter.
If you see this i appreciate that you took your time to read all this, and hopefully you can reply with a answer of some sort, i just don't understand why it hasn't been fixed since it is a big thing for "PvE" players, and endgame with leaderboards and stuff.
Players use the (Big LFG) constantly everyday for raids and most players look at (Raid report) to see how many clears a player has, to then choose if they want them in or not so pls get Bungie to fix this issue instead of fixing minor thing, this has been a problem for ages now, also would be great if you could fix all the Checkpoint clears that for some reason counts as full clears. <3

2 RepliesEdited by Shirtless_Captain_Kirk: 4/7/2022 8:20:41 PMNah, shut down raid report and similar sites. That junk breeds toxicity that is completely unnecessary. It's a load of bs for basement dwelling neck beards that think they're doing something special by beating a Destiny raid over and over. The only people that actually care are a small percentage of highly undesirable, masochistic, subset of the player base. These people think at this point you should have 50-100 clears of VoD, when the facts are anyone with 3-5 clears has more than enough of a raid resume for anyone. At this point max looted clears is like what, 20? This portion of the Destiny player base doesn't need to be catered to. They're generally horrible people that treat others very poorly, even others like them. All you should know is how many clears you have, and your only source of that info should be in-game. I hope the trend continues and "raid report sweaties" cannot try to "qualify" their clears as superior to another's. I don't remember seeing any complaints when cp clears counted as full. Then you have those guys who trip out about a red dot. So, if I go try to solo a raid boss and quit after 10 hours of trial and error, it makes me "suck" bc there is a red dot on some bs 3rd party site. Where one of these "raid report sweaties" have green dots bc they only do safe, assured runs that are low risk. F that noise bro. Losers. I've gotten 2 raid titles on LFG only. In my book, RR kids are fn SCRUBS and need their behavior and practices sidelined. Downvoted.

The pulling at Rhulk isn't really a problem. As long as no one goes ahead of the intended wall, everyone should be able to make it to the encounter. It's more a community issue than a design one

The Raid API has been bugged for a while now. We already had the long period where any checkpoint run counted as a full run on Raid Report, so loads of people got the "Flawless" badge for just killing the final boss in one attempt and it recorded their times as being faster than the speedrun records.

7 RepliesEdited by Kestrel: 4/6/2022 2:27:37 AMSo long as I get my loot, I'm fine. I personally despise Raid Report and the idea of anyone looking into my stars in general. It's judging a book by cover. I could care less about clears. So long as I follow oders and do my part in a raidvand get rewarded. Everything else is secondary. Or lesser.

It’s been out of whack forever. It’s like it doesn’t count raid completions randomly. Maybe it’s just not in the mood?
