I mean I still just farm for weapons… haven’t touched crafting since the exotic glaive mission… crafting is horrible..
The resource caps are ridiculous, also when you craft a weapon it has horrible rolls.. this game requires you to have specific rolls to compete and no one is really gonna rank up a weapon to level 15 at the moment…
Well that’s my rant…

Yeah, most of the perk combos just made me stop messing with crafting. If its meant to keep PvE "PoWeR fAnTaSy" in check, I'll stick to my current Striga loadout. They can Alt+Delete the rest though (even the Exotic Glaive is trash).

2 RepliesCouldn’t possibly care less.

I enjoy it but I think there are some little things they can do to improve it.
-
This will not last long just like the forges and the One came with the curse of Osiris dlc due to end Up getting vaulted by 2024
-
I’m over it already, another grind. God bless
-
I think I have crafted one weapon and don’t really care about it. For me it’s more fun to get the rolls after completing an event. I will say they getting all these red border weapons has made me use more types of weapons than ever before. Running around the throne world with shotguns, snipers, and sidearms has been kind of fun. If I ever feel like crafting I should have lots of materials for it lol.
-
Just got the auto and bow from season weapons crafted and am looking forward to being able to put better perks on them once leveled up. They aren't great feeling right now but there also only level 5 or so. The Throne World weapons (except the fusion) were just bad in my opinion, crafted or not. Need to start getting the patterns from the raid because I think those are gonna be the best crafting options ATM.

There is a couple that I am planning on putting time into crafting even if I get a god roll drop. Seasonal Bow, Hakke shotgun Palmyra, sweet sorrow. Outside of that random drop god rolls will suffice

Edited by Meow Fairy: 3/16/2022 5:39:41 PMToo annoying to use weapons i dont care avoit just to get materials. I would do it if there was no cap. But eh...have to do it everytime i want to craft a single weapon. So. No thanks i prefer relying on lucky drops like always (By the time i got enough red weapons to craft some weapons ill probably already have a godroll anyways)
-
I'm with you. Outside of the exotics (I Still haven't gotten all the red borders needed to get the glaive 🙃) the only REAL reason is for the enhanced perks I guess. But as far as I can tell they only really provide "a nice little bonus" as opposed to something actually worth grinding for.
-
1 ReplyI’m gonna be honest, it’s not as good as I hoped it would be. The only weapons that I might craft are the raid ones, but other than that I’m sticking with RNG.
-
2 RepliesYep, it sucks, from grinding trying to get the red box weapons to using bad rolls to get materials, to the horrible resource cap that when you hit the cap makes completing red box weapons fell bad when you know you are wasting resources because of the cap, but you still have to grind them out in order to get enough frames to even craft the weapon to then using the crafted weapon with crap rolls until you can craft the weapon you want. It's an overall bad experience.
-
I think imma only craft the raid weapons and some of the weapons. But the raid ones are better than most of the weapons that can be crafted. There are some I don't mind but I do prefer some weapon frames over the other
-
How about just don't play gambit. Maybe bungie will take the hint esp. If no one plays gambit.

Edited by RichGhost77: 3/16/2022 5:10:33 PMMe lol I crafted something as part of the quest, I think. Other than that I'm really not interested. Wait, there's an exotic glaive? Huh.
-
2 RepliesOnly did what quest needed...still stuck on one because those weapons not dropping lol
-
also when you craft a weapon it has horrible rolls…
This, is my only real problem. You start with a bad gun. A gun that would normally be gunsmith fodder. I do not like that Sam I am...
-
I was over it after the first couple. The perks are -blam!- and the enhanced perks are -blam!-. The whole system is terrible
-
Just craft the ones worth it for u, keep dismatling if u have full mats. Easy as that atm weapons doesnt interest me but once there are some void weapons that catch my interest i'll craft them
-
I only care about crafting certain weapons not every weapon.
-
3 RepliesI view it a little differently. It might feel grindy to acquire Deepsight guns, extract materials and patterns, craft the gun, and level the gun; but from my experience this is way quicker than "Do Activity, Pray for 5/5 Drop". I'd rather do a grind that has an end that's always in sight, than do one that could end after two attempts or literally never The resource caps on the Legendary and Exotic materials feel fine due to them only being used for Enhanced perks. The only material that feels out of place for the pace you can craft is Neutral Element. Wouldn't mind seeing more of that going around I like crafting, needs just a couple small improvements. Aside from a Neutral Element increase, I think crafted guns should also have a second row of selectable attachments and traits to help the Vault space issue

Edited by rednayeL: 3/16/2022 4:45:18 PMCrafted the RL, palmera. That’s it with a couple they wanted me to. It’s a very long grind, don’t like it.
-
Haven't crafted anything apart from the ones they made me do for the quests/weekly challenges.
-
Haven’t crafted any but the one they made me do

Nearly everyone I know in DESTINY atm.
