What could they possibly do? Throw 2 people in a room and do what? There is much more creative approach to 6 people.
Is there though? How many Raids have had mechanics where all 6 people are responsible for 6 completely different things?
Most of the time you’re splitting up into two groups of three. Or it’s three groups of two, where all three groups are doing the same thing just in three different locations. And usually it’s just one player is responsible to go do a thing, while the other stays out and kills stuff.
Often the only reason reason you need 6 players is you to do the same thing in 2 or more locations at the same time, and there’s just too many spawning enemies for 1 person to keep up with. You need to defend more than one spot and there’s a runner that can’t easily defend themselves.
