Not trying to argue, but it really isn’t that hard to teach most people. Especially if you just give them a simple role. It’s not like you’re telling them every detail about the encounter. In most raids, each person just repeats the same 2-3 actions.
Of course, you’ll sometimes end up with people who can’t tell left from right, but most people looking to do a raid because they didn’t get a chance to play on day 1 are usually competent enough to learn a single role for each encounter.

You’re talking beat case scenario in a pool of thousands of people of different flavors. I’ve seen it first hand. Some people just throw hard and can’t stay alive or won’t pay attention for call outs. Consider it those people ruining it for everyone. They shouldn’t be in raids if they can’t or won’t learn it. Not being toxic but I’m just saying I would not want to ruin other peoples night because me. That’s just me though.

I’ve taught many people how to do Vog and DSC, and it really doesn’t take that long for people to figure certain roles out. We both clearly have different experiences, so there’s no point in me continuing.

I understand your experience and selflessness and respect it. Some people can be A holes and others just don’t have time to teach and want to get through it.. I’m only pointing out another perspectives not just one.
