Its not. I don't want to continously teach mechanics to people who just want easy loot. The mechanics aren't complicated, and the bosses now thst contest is over cook with good weapons. Either make an attempt to learn mechanics before or quit complaining that we want people who kwtd.

I completely disagree with you, let me explain why. Think back to the days to when you yourself were a Destiny noob. When you barely knew how to do any strike mechanics, let alone any of the raid ones. Someone took the time out of their day to teach you how to do those things. Whether that be a close friend, an LFG, a youtuber/streamer or whoever it may have been. It’s extremely hypocritical of you to say stuff like this knowing full well you were once in that persons shoes. No hate intended towards you specifically, but I hate when people have mentalities like yours. I understand you want to get it done and over with, but at some point in this game you can go through a little bit of annoyance to help someone out. I can almost guarantee that person that originally taught you was getting pretty annoyed with you as well at some point. If some of you “raider mains” don’t put some time aside, this game will absolutely plummet to the bottom of the popularity charts eventually.

  • literally watch a five minute video on how to do the raid, it is not another players job to take time out of their day to teach you.

I didn’t say that it was, nor did I say that someone shouldn’t watch a five minute video beforehand. All I said is that having a mindset like that persons is hypocritical, and why I disagreed with what they said. Stop trying to make this into an argument when it never was one in the first place.

  • So in a nutshell. Shut up find a raid group and do it. Gotcha will do.

  • I agree, there’s a lot of people who don’t want to learn and progress. Just want to ad clear but don’t know symbols and want the loot. Na , if you can’t learn all aspects of each part just in case someone dies then you’re bad and don’t need to do the raid period.

  • Lol not trying to be -blam!- but how does one learn the mechanics without being taught. True one could read the mechanics online but some learn better via hands on experience. I’m in the latter category. I could and have read numerous articles and watched numerous videos on the mechanics but since I’ve never actually attempted it I can’t find a group and the reason I can’t find a group is because nobody will help me get hands on experience. At this point I think the best course is to get a random team and attempt it blind

  • You learn the encounter just like how everyone else on day 1 is doing it. We experiment, try fail try fail until they figure out the mechanics and work around strategy. No one relies on a teacher for day 1. Think man. No one is hand holding these day 1 players.

  • I agree I guess the fault lies on me lol I’m antisocial to begin with so I mostly solo play. I can’t push the blame on others when I don’t try to be more social.
