It's pretty cool, and a great intro. Lore items in the Pyramid museum was awesome!! Loved it. Interactive, inquisitive. Time to explore. Honestly. It was unexpected and fantastic.
This needs to be expanded upon.
Story missions for raid training. Easy, normal, and hard raid modes.
Matchmaking for easy.
Raids are arguably the best content in the game (although legendary story in this expansion is SUPERB). Give more players the chance to experiance them.

OOC from a player who isn’t interested in beating his head against the artificial difficulty wall, what makes the legendary mode of the story so good? Does it have different encounters or is it just the added difficulty overall?

It's the right balance of difficulty and enjoyment coupled with a very good balance of paced events. It just makes sense. When you get your emblem and upgrades, you feel like you earned it, and that applies to both swewties and normal players alike. We have needed this for a loooong time.

I’ve made peace with it. Especially in the dark maps. My situational awareness is… not great. Usually I run in a circle, try to jump my way out right into the mini boss and get yeeted into a wall.

The difficulty was what made it. You didn’t just run and shoot everything and win. You had to plan accordingly and adjust your loadout to succeed. It was the most fun I’ve had with any Destiny story. Felt rewarding to complete, it’s the way solo content can be in the future.
