Yea, the majority of Destiny players have no real life, so they overcompensate for their shortcomings by being dicks while making it a full-time job, it kind of sucks that the developers feed into that by making outrageously difficult content where you have to spend endless hours grinding for whatever task, weapon, armor, mod, etc.
The developers say, 'yea, but if/when you complete it you get a real sense of satisfaction' ... or something. yea, no, I get that by not buying into that mind-set, and accomplishing real world goals. You know, like jobs, education, family, all that boring stuff. Don't get me wrong, Destiny is a gorgeous game in many ways, but the "end-game content" , no thanks you can keep it, and pretend you're some kind of bigwig for wasting your life on such meaningless trivial stuff.

Agreed. Gm nightfalls are just as bad. No patience at all for these "know it all" groups and expect you to get through it all perfectly and use only the meta weapons to deal with everything. Main reason I hate the champion system, limits different play styles and gets really boring. Glad I don't have to always use bows anymore this season

My thoughts exactly re the champion system.

I enjoy the game, don't get me wrong, but those people I'm referring to need to understand some people want to "smell the flowers" and just enjoy playing for playing. and not speed run everything. For me clearing all enemies all the time is the goal, not blasting through to get to the end. That's my rant for the day, enjoy.

Same with me. Well said.
