I'd say requiring unattainable standards on the first day of a release is more ignorant and pathetic than toxic.

Whats pathetic is you clearly dont understand what “contest mode” is and what it requires. I spent 38 hrs in that raid this weekend… you think I want to grab a potato from LfG who hasn’t dedicated that amount of time in the raid and has no clue on survivability/mods in a day1 mode? F NOooooo!!!!! I want hardcore endgame players ONLY. Im not trying to waste another 8 hrs getting 1 person accustomed to the raid and group. You people are literally out of your damn minds, and have ZERO respect or a clue of what it takes to beat a new raid on “contest mode.”. If ANYthing is “toxic” and “arrogant”… its gotta people that want a carry or want to be taught during contest mode on a day1 raid. SMH
-
you literally just proved their point. Nice.
-
lol awww so the snowflake wants a participation trophy huh? I dont care if I come off “toxic”. Thats the harsh reality. Dedicate the time and put in the effort… you get rewarded. THATS HOW LIFE WORKS.
-
Dude, you're a toxic gatekeeper. It's not about a participation trophy at all. You're just a toxic human being.
-
First off buddy… check my sherpa and raid clears you snowflake clown. I help people get raid clears every single week. Day1 contest mode is made for people that dedicate their time and energy in this game. Your typical “causal” gamer doesnt belong in these activities. Sorry NOT sorry

As I've said before, learn proper grammar before you start insulting others. Also, you seem like the kind of garbage "sherpa" that kicks people from a group because they mess up a mechanic. You're getting tilted because I'm calling you out for being a piece of trash human.
I'd say requiring unattainable standards on the first day of a release is more ignorant and pathetic than toxic.
How is it unattainable? All someone would have to do is watch a video of someone doing the encounter and they “KWTD”. Not only was it obtainable the first day. But within a few hours of its launch.

That is pathetic. Figuring it out for yourself is the only point of a new raid. You'll be speed running it 1000 times for a year but it's too much for yourself and the people you play with to figure it out on your own the first time. I'll never understand that mentality.
-
People are trying for the emblem and time is limited both by real world responsibilities as well as the timer that Bungie has implemented. I'm sure that if you were to put a post up with no requirements for going in blind, many like minded people would join. I don't really see a problem.

I'll never understand that mentality.
If you want to go on to the raid blind and figure it out yourself that’s perfectly fine. If that’s fun to you that’s great. Some people don’t want to do that. They want to complete the raid as soon as possible and grind for loot. There’s nothing wrong with that either. Hence why people should stop -blam!- about others posts and just make their own.
-
I agree that people should make their own post and should recognize lfg posts with requirements like this on day one as a red flag to avoid that player at all costs. It's actually a blessing to be able to see which people you don't want to waste your time with.
-
Sure if that’s what they want. Personally I’d rather avoid the players -blam!- about others lfg posts. But to each their own.

I think it's best to avoid most randoms. But you'll know in about 5 minutes if they can walk the walk or not.
