All I see for new raid is kwtd or kick
Bro it’s been out less than a day

That’s a requirement. Toxic would be if you messed up knowing no one has done it before and then got kicked from the raid
-
3 Repliesputting "KWTD" in a LFG title isn't toxic. they are letting you know upfront that they are only interested in experienced players. now what is toxic is not putting KWTD in the title and then kicking people after finding out they dont KWTD.
All I see for new raid is kwtd or kick Bro it’s been out less than a day
You better get knowing what to do then
-
Yeah, and those groups want you to look up a guide so they don’t personally have to teach you the thing step by step. That’s fine. There are also people looking to do blind and teaching runs. That’s fine. Trust me, you don’t want to get taught a raid by the average 20 year old boy.

Nothing new with this community. At least the guides are slowly coming out, so more and more people will actually know what to do. Granted, that's likely to be joined by groups asking for "X+ clears or kick," where X = a random number, but still. Long story short, just ignore them and make your own.

Open your own lfg and ask for patient ppl. It’ll feel quick - there’s a huge subsection of ppl looking to join friendly lfg’s

It's not toxic at all. If someone ask for help at a certain checkpoint, they expect replies from people who would have an idea of what happened up to that point. This doesn't mean that knowing what to do for the following encounters is a must, just that everyone should be able to pull off the current encounter. If it goes well enough, the other players might be willing to teach the following ones. When someone who has no idea what to do joins a KWTD, they aren't interested in the mechanics and only hope for a carry (which is especially hard to pull off in contest mode). Please do some research before joining KWTD lobbies. Seek out "Teaching" lobbies if you can't look up quick references/guides on the Internet.

I remember back in the d1 days I would always try to complete the raid by weekend 2 as not doing so would lock you out from decent raid teams
-
This happens every raid release, but honestly this is the best time to start your own post. You will have no issue finding 5 guardians like yourself trying to sift through the toxic forums looking for someone with requirements they prob don't even meet.
-
You're toxic af
-
TBH those of us in the S tier community literally firmly disagree actually

2 RepliesLFG, these forums (not all the the time but often), and Twitter? Yeah. But I stand by the idea that many regular players of the game are perfectly friendly, it’s just that the toxic portions of the community are VERY active and vocal. LFG has honestly never been great though. My suggestion is to find a personal raid team/clan. It will take some effort, but reaching out to friends or exploring discord’s, Reddit’s, or even here can eventually get you one

21 RepliesI think it’s toxic to expect groups to take you through a raid. It’s also toxic to call people toxic who simply want a solid group that knows what they’re doing.
-
2 RepliesI watched a guide on VoD and I still have no idea how to do the first part. It’s confusing af so i didn’t watch the rest of the video.
-
Fresh VotD - Kwtd 10+ clears. Must be sleepy like Joe
-
Watch a raid breakdown, take on more shooting roles, and just lie your way through the raid. Chances are, the people that have done it will screw up more than you will.
-
2 RepliesI hate to tell you but the entire gaming community is pretty toxic. It's rare to find somewhere that isn't rather than somewhere that is.
-
Amazing how I see so many people posting and complaining about lfg's asking people to KWTD. You would think with all these people complaining about it, the people complaining would have plenty of people to just form fireteams with and go in blind with. You realize that it is also toxic to be on the forums complaining about other players choices, right? If you don't want to be in a KWTD group, make an lfg post and form your own group of people who don't know what to do.

Elitist -blam!- is the words your looking for 😂
-
2 Repliesi know man tis ridiculous. I usually dont join those type of groups. The problem is Bungie made VOD so damn mechanic heavy its probably hard for the average person to explain the mechanics. So they rather you just kwtd from the start.
-
5 RepliesI know man, it’s the young ones mostly. No patience, no good will. The encounters are much easier than DSC I find, but everybody has to already kwtd, it could take up to 5 minutes to explain, all that time wasted.
-
My policy with this game: Do things your way. Don’t worry about what other groups do for raids or trials or whatever. If you want to go in blind, or don’t want to look up guides, or want to be the guy that Sherpas people, go right ahead. If certain groups of people get on your nerves, then ignore them and do what you want. There are plenty of posts out there with “willing to teach” or “first time raid” that you can join (I see at least three every time I try to look for groups).

You must be new to this community

What'd you expect? Its the destiny community, very toxic, if you haven't been corrupted yet you're either b l e s s e d, or soon to drown along with the rest of us. Stop resisting, drown with us. T h e r e i s n o e s c a p e. we are, your s a l v a t i o n

What online gaming community is not toxic. I haven’t experienced one yet.
