All I see for new raid is kwtd or kick
Bro it’s been out less than a day

3 RepliesActually. People are just pathetic. The whole point of a new raid is to figure it out for yourself. But people don't actually want to figure things out, they want the rewards. Claiming to teach someone or someone wanting to be taught on day one is pathetic. Watching someone else figure out the raid and then making a post for people to kwtd is just sad. Go in blind and figure it out. Don't expect someone to teach you, and don't expect everyone to know what to do. Like I said, most people just want to bypass whatever obstacle they can to get rewards. Horrible way to play a game, more of a horrible way to go through life.

Kwtd unless stated otherwise means at minimum you watched a video and understand how the encounter works and what sorts of loadout/mods are appropriate. That’s been the case in every raid This raid is too new to carry potato’s. Like last wish, there are 1-2 parts of the raid that are not conducive to carrying potato’s ~I just kill adds~ or ~I don’t run relics~ or ~I don’t do call outs~ doesn’t work. You can make your own post or do a bit of homework so that you know the basics. Nobody owes you wiping on encounters for 2 hours or explaining every encounter to you like you are 5 years old when you can’t be bothered to watch a 10 minute video on each encounter and make builds that are appropriate The community is fine except for people feeling entitled
-
If people would stop trying to get in just for an easy Carry, "KWTD" wouldn't be as common. Think of how many raids you go into where everyone except one person would rather be on,"add control" rather than reading or helping with a mechanic because their reason is,"I can't read good" or "I never done this I just killed adds good".
-
“KWTD have 101 clears, be a clown 🤡” Pretty much sums it up.
-
Grats on just figuring this out 👌👌👌
-
Don't forget. Most communities are very selective of who they want to Raid or whatever now.
-
19 RepliesGood. Those are people who are either terrible raid leaders....so they demand "KWTD" so they don't actually have to put much effort into leading..... ....or they have no idea what they're doing, and are just looking to be carried. These people are a waste of your time, and its considerate of them to identify themselves as such.
-
I hear ya... But there is nothing stopping you making your own group... with your own requirements... Just saying
-
Ain’t no body for time for that! For reals tho it’s bad no one wanna take the time to explain it, everyone expect you to sit for hours watching YouTube videos! 😂
-
1 ReplyI’ll watch a video and consider that KWTD. Close enough. People will be finding easier strategies over the next couple weeks anyway.
-
I see it to but more times than not these guys/girls have nobody joining their LFG.
-
I’ve been around since D1. Was a solo player for years.. didn’t raid or play trials. I hate lfg’s. Had more bad interactions then good. As far is requirements I don’t put any on when I post an lfg but I can understand, to an extent, the reasoning for some. I have kids so time is an issue. Some players have other obligations so they may not want to waste their time teaching. Buuuut… in this gaming community for whatever reason players like to feel like they are better than others. Not as a whole. But you see it all the time. My advice is just to skip over it until you see a “chill” run. I see those posted frequently. No sense in getting yourself worked up over some guardian trying to feel better about themselves.
-
It’s more exclusive on the first days because people want the completion for the emblem. not really that difficult to understand if I’m being complete honest. I’ve already beaten it
-
Thats crazy bro, you must not kwtd
-
2 RepliesI mean at least it’s easy to spot the toxic ones especially because of the new raid coming out and it’s easy to spot them because they’re the ones posting kwtd when the raid hasn’t been out for even a week yet can’t really be objective and not be toxic at the same time I don’t really get how people can go from we’re going in blind need help to kwtd get kicked it’s literally the most delusional and toxic way to play the game I’ve seen and it really shows who you should raid with and who you should stay away from
-
Just aided in helping 3 guardians… it was rough but we got it done…

Edited by l HyperLethal l: 3/8/2022 4:02:51 AMUmm, that has to be the least toxic aspect of the Destiny community. Try visiting every community post Bungie has made on these forums.
-
6 RepliesIt has literally never changed. Just get used to the fact that this game is made for streamers. We are just the dummies that funnel them cash, and get nothing in return.
-
Everything everyone knows was taught to them and then in turn learned. So, the issue is the leaders not wanting to lead. Not something new. Sometimes we forget patience is kinda cool too.
-
25 RepliesDon't know why Bungie wastes resources on raids, most of the player base doesn't even participate in them.
-
Did every raid in d1 would run them all 3 times a week. Once the primaries no longer had elements and the loot became less rewarding I slowly stopped doing them. D2 I've only done 3. Raids now are very elaborate and it's very difficult to carry ppl. Old ones someone died you could still pull it off. I miss doing them, but simply don't have 2 to 3 hrs for them.
-
4 RepliesPeople don’t want to be in there for hours for someone they don’t even know. At least watch a video on how to do it all so you can say you know what to do. People not wanting to be in the raid all night isn’t being toxic.

3 RepliesTo those who say "it's contest mode". Yea. This is a general objectively correct statement tho. It applies to the entire "hardcore" community of this game. PVE and PVP. Both groups of hardcore players are the most elitist, uninviting and indeed toxic people i've met in any video game. I don't raid a lot because of that. My regular friends stopped playing after D1 because D2 launch was trash. So all my 100 D2 raid clears were with LFG. Literally 60-70 of those clears were unenjoyable because of the people. There were some gems, a lot of laughs, great people overall. But those are mostly semi casual friend groups. The general vast majority of raiders is purely toxic tho.
-
Man I feel you.

1 ReplyI think VOG and Crota in D1 were perfect raids. Some mechanics and communication was needed at certain spots. There wasn't this need for the kwtd or kick posts.
