note the word accidentally, and take this with a grain of salt During the nightfall (2/24/22), we went up the elevator clearly built with big raid size oryx in mind, we destroyed the first two witches, gate lowers, hashledun advances... Here's the part I wanted to mention: So out of curiosity, I looked about behind the gate for spawn doors and paths, but -- according to my knowledge as of now-- the gate closes shortly after the ghost says "Here she comes." You can sit here and do pretty much nothing, not shoot through the gate, reopen the gate, receive immediate rewards such as the box after the boss (thank goodness), get teleported to allies, not jump over said gate, or even anything that isn't trying to lob a grenade over by looking up or jumping down to an abyss of G R E E N. Enemies, such as the very well known cannon fodder thrall, can still detect you and look at your probably tasty soul, but only melee can try to hit you...tried dying to a cursed thrall...they do NOT work through walls. So I unintentionally (and only once as I would feel wrong about it because I didn't get to annihilate any hive of that room) basically worked as an "insurance policy", if you will, for if I am the last standing. Bungie, I ask of you to please prevent this exploit before it becomes an epidemic. I do not wish to cheat or have anyone else cheat in this manner again. Thank you for reading.
