I took the time to Masterwork my Dear friend after neglecting her for years. I was very disappointed to see only a marginal gain of stability for all that work. Do you know how hard it is to find heavy? 300 critical shots is insane..... For you to then feel like you got nothing in return. The gun should fire like a scout rifle if stability is the route you were going.
The fact that it is a Heavy Sniper Rifle should have a benefit all by itself. It is a heavy weapon, not a special, so by default it uses larger and harder to find ammo. It should have an intrinsic Armor Pierce upgrade. A boosted Magazine, and the ability to self-reload would make me not feel like I am wasting a good slot for something with more versatility.

I would amend that by an up-link to a Vex Hydra that is triggered activated aiming painting the target for 2.5 to 3 full seconds, firing not only fires the weapon but opens a Vex gate over the target somewhere near the target and a 5 second salvo of Mauler Shots rain down on the target. Or a single shot of Mad Warden Blast ending in a Warmind Cell explosion and damage with Global Reach Range. Or have an Ornament slot for up-link style and let up buy what we want to see as our up-link each with their own ups and downs. A Hive Ships cannons track targets, but are slow. The Vex Maulers do sustained damage but are line of sight and are at the mercy of Portal angle. Warden shot can only appear directly over your targets meaning, a direct hit will highly damaging, would not always happen unless somehow stunned first. It would rely on the splash damage of the finishing explosion. For laughs unending, Up-link to a Cabal Carrier for a Pod Drop. (She was smart enough to hack the Vex pretending to be one and call for help.) This would be just enough fun in stages without being too powerful, thanks to the windup time, and almost impossible to use in Crucible unless you are just THAT good. Nearly perfect play balance.
