Hello there,
The forums are the support for the game, there is not a direct contact method.
Postmaster is not meant for long term storage. Items in it are subject to deletion at any time for numerous reasons including: lack of space, daily or weekly reset, updates, or maintenance etc.
Unfortunately, Bungie does not restore lost or deleted items or characters.
Whether due to accidental deletion or unauthorized account access, Bungie does not recover manually deleted characters or items, and does not replace in-game items that are lost or dismantled.
Thank you for the quick reply. I’m relatively new to the game so thanks for the advice. I do use the companion and DIM, but I’m not sure how that would have helped me. I keep my PM very clean. My inventory can only hold 25 Upgrade Modules maximum so I was saving the extra in the postmaster. I read elsewhere on these forums that the PM will keep items indefinitely unless it’s full or I retrieve them. I don’t understand why the game would just randomly delete something that I worked for saving up.
I do use the companion and DIM, but I’m not sure how that would have helped me.
These tools help by allowing you to monitor your postmaster while playing.
I keep my PM very clean.
I read elsewhere on these forums that the PM will keep items indefinitely unless it’s full or I retrieve them.
Full is only one of the possible reasons for items leaving the Postmaster. Since it is not meant for long term storage, items can be deleted really at any time.
I don’t understand why the game would just randomly delete something that I worked for saving up.
It is not "random", I listed some of the possible reasons that postmaster can be wiped. Since the postmaster's intended use was only to capture items that you missed in game and retrieve shortly there after, items left there are not really protected in the long term. Using the postmaster to bypass Bungie's intended currency caps can be done, but it does carry the risk that those items are subject to deletion. Use at your own risk

In fact, whenever the game is updated or there is a maintenance, the PM can get randomly emptied
