Hi there!
Are you talking about the voice chat?
If so, what's the problem you're facing?

Yea it’s voice chat in game between pc players and next gen console I was on ps5 the pc player couldn’t hear any console players but we could hear him
-
Sounds more like an issue on their end, not on the console side.
-
Hi - I also tried voice with my PS friend. I'm on Xbox Series X, he is on PS4. We connected fine in game as you would expect but despite trying various ways to get voice chat working, we just couldn't connect. So had to refer to using our cell phones with Discord. Any other people experiencing voice chat issues on cross play or any tips?
-
Have you enabled cross platform communication in the xbox settings? It has to be allowed in order to use the in game choice chat.
-
Yeah I've definitely got my settings all set to Allow / Everybody. Double checked them just now. Maybe something on his PS side??

Edited by SirWinnipeck: 2/12/2022 12:14:19 PMCan you hear them? On Xbox there is some issue with some headsets, because the xbox doesn't allow any headset to be used with the console. Have you checked if it's certified to be used with the console?
-
Yeah it’s not that. It’s a fully certified headset for Xbox series x/s.

Edited by SirWinnipeck: 2/12/2022 12:17:35 PMMight be a NAT-Type issue then. Or the user on the Playstation had the in game chat audio disabled. It still shows th headphone symbol for them then, but they can't hear others or talk to them.

Thanks for your replies. I’ll see if my friend can relook on his side.
-
Also, something to note: There is an in game option where you can enable or disable voice chat. This has to be enabled as well.

You're welcome! Overall there are many factors that can result in the in game audio chat not working properly - on both sides. Therefore it's very difficult to find the issue just through the forum. Hope it'll work out for you anyway and you find a solution!
