What looked like high tech 20 years ago, would look ridiculous and dated today.
Who is going to believe that you’re in the 25th Century with an AI that looks like an 8-bit video game character. Do you have any idea how bad that would look in 1080p or 4K screens??

woah woah woah not that much, i don't want her to look like old pixelated cortanna, -blam!- that would be insane in a bad way. just make her face blue that is it.
-
Why? Given who Cortana is, and her relationship with John-117, WHY would she display herself as blue when she has the ability to depict herself more realistically. She was blue because that looked "hi-tech" in the 1990s when the idea for her was conceived. That doesn't look hi-tech now when we have CGI that is almost able to generate photo-realistic imgages. Like I said, sometimes you need to let things CHANGE in order for them to stay relevant.

The C O P E is strong with this one.

No. I’m just willing to let things change and enjoy the story. Because I understand the difference between being invested in a story (caring what happens) and thinking that I have ownership of it (they need to do what I want or else I’ll be mad!) A difference that I find many Millennials-and-younger struggle with.

Edited by kellygreen45: 2/6/2022 6:02:37 PMIf you know Cortana’s story then that makes no sense if she had the ability to create a more realistic projection. That inability isn’t credible anymore. The whole point of the avatars is to put humans at ease and to facilitate interaction.
