1 ReplyEdited by Kiro - 13: 2/4/2022 10:36:53 PMXiM and Cronos are becoming more and more popular, this is what enables you to play k&m on consoles and yes it is cheating. What its doing is giving you all the stickiness, grip, and aim assist attributes a controller has while tricking the game into thinking your on a controller. That being said RICOCHET Anti-Cheat being made for COD will supposedly have a function to detect and ban this, I would like to see a similar commitment from Bungie.

14 RepliesM and K should be nerfed into uselessness entirely. It should be a level playing field with all players in a cross platform game requiring a similar control method. Either controller or M&K, not both. The entire point and click overpowers the toggle stick in an unfair manner.

14 RepliesI'd rather we have full mnk support for consoles. Mnk is considered to be the best input device so why not. Next gen is 120fps, high fov, high res and far less cheating. Everything a pc player wants except mnk support.

I think you have no idea what you are talking about (unless you can provide video evidence). I play on Console only, during Shadowkeep I played solely on PC. Made also my Unbroken in that time, with controller only on PC. I know exactly how PvP players behave with M/K because of my 1y experience on PC. And I haven't faced ANY M/K user on Console. Sometimes people are just that good as they are, ever considered that? -
Played a few people on mnk myself tonight. The movement gives it away every time.
-
I report those that move in unfair ways that are using the mnk but denying it. While on the forums complaining about chrono zens and using thing not ment to be used in destiny.
-
Most are using Xim which console gets fooled into thinking its a controller so you get aim assist and pretty cool movement.

10 RepliesHow do you know they're on m&k?
-
Bungie has no control over what peripherals a particular platform allows, and it's not a big deal. People have been using m&k on console for two decades.
-
3 RepliesI played on pc for 2 years using my controller and I still managed to do well. Its not the end of the world. I highly suggest you get a 120hz tv or monitor though. It makes a massive difference when facing pc players.

Not sure how it could be policed tbh.

6 RepliesEdited by Darth45789: 2/4/2022 12:55:37 PMFor how common some people seem to make it, I can’t say I’ve ever seen someone and suspected they were on MnK.
THAT is NOT fair, why the heck?!
I’m not sure what you think bungie can do about it?...
-
12 RepliesIt’s entirely “fair.” If I went to PC I’d have the option of both, why is it unfair on console?
-
Didn’t they say it could only be used for in game chat tho?
-
5 RepliesI think it’s just a preference, and if someone prefers M&K we can’t really tell them to use a controller just because it’s “unfair”

Bungie should allow console to use MnK but once they use it, they’ll be put in pc lobbies like in COD
-
Rainbow six siege vibes

4 RepliesI thought destiny on console didn’t support mnk?
-
Point-and-click BAYBEEE!!!!

1 ReplyIt's really not that bad. You're already crossplaying with them now. Your standard M&K player is actually much less threatening than a controller player with certain mod packs they're selling on the open market these days..

Xim users are just better than you? 🤔🤔🤔
