I think the key for any new person experiencing raids for the first time, find a group to do the encounters legit. People by now have methods of cheesing encounters.

True, also finding a group that understands that things are going to go wrong when you have a new person doing something for the first time. Back in D1 I was in a clan who was going to help this guy get his first VOG clear. After just two wipes the leader of our group called the new guy a moron, told him to uninstall and kicked him. I got a group of my actual friends together and we helped the guy get through it. I think far too many people forget that we all were in that position at one time and how freaked out we were.

I agree 100%. We all make mistakes and we all started as a new light blueberry at one point. I always try to encourage people to brush it off. Own up to mistakes, ask questions, listen, learn.

Exactly. There's so much to learn when you're starting out and having a bunch of veteran sweat lords yelling at you anc calling you trash doesn't help anything. The biggest key to a successful raid is everyone being chill. Yelling at someone for making mistakes makes everything worse because then they tense up and make even more mistakes.

Yeah definitely. If you’re trying to help out new players, it’s better to understand that they are new and work with them. If people get mad at them, they might just not play the game again. I feel kinda bad cause I tried to get one of my irl friends into d2 and we kinda made him do dsc underleveled, now he doesn’t want to play the game anymore.
