Increase in Exotic Cipher Capacity
Thank you for still allowing us to get DMT and Hawkmoon, but now that we have one each of those every week from Xur and the exotic kiosk as well (for us returning/newer players), could we please get an increase the number of exotic ciphers we can carry?

How about nah. The exotic cipher is a means to an end, it is in Bungie’s best interest to throttle the ciphers and keep them at a finite level of possession. You’re not supposed to be able to clean out the kiosk day 1 of new light. That’s the point, and from a veteran standpoint I don’t see them even humoring your desires.

I don't understand how running the time it takes to complete Xenology for a cipher even compares to how long it takes to run through the dungeons (quest areas). It's a bad workaround for taking the areas away. Not to mention how limited the amount of times you can get them per week.

4 RepliesThere's really no reason to do this, you can get an Exotic Cipher each week from Xur's weekly quest. If you are really concerned that Xur will be selling a "God Roll" of both weapons in a single week, you can hold onto a single Cipher, spend it, then complete the Xenology quest in the same weekend for another. You aren't going to be buying a ton of these weapons given the very high cost. And if you were planning on buying them every week, don't, it's a waste of Legendary Shards.
