Its supposedly there to help find better spawns... its a tiny bandaid on an infected wound. I laughed at that idea as I respawned into an enemy who was already charging a fusion rifle who instantly killed me through the overshield you get on respawn before I could move... I laughed again as the friend I was playing with spawned in front of a sniper and he got domed immediately. Its all a load of crap. Several of the maps are big and yet still too small and the rest are just tiny. I miss the maps bungie removed, a few of them were at least better than what we have been left with. No map bungie release will ever be big enough for 6v6 in current D2 and spawns will always be garbage.
