Would really appreciate any sort of help as of now since Bungie doesn't have a means to contact them directly anymore for this issue.

  • so you picked the wrong primary account? xbox instead of steam? if so, all you can do is dis-able cross save, wait the mandatory 90 day lockout before re-enabling it with steam as the primary. they don't make exceptions.

  • I am a 100% sure that I chose steam as my main since I did it before for my girlfriend as well. But this is really mind boggling how the API completely messes up and does this randomly. Would I be able to access my steam characters before that waiting period by any chance?

  • i believe if you dis-able cross-save, you could continue to play on steam during the 90 day lockout. you just can't re-enable cross-save.

  • I really don't mind not being able to access cross save since I was just doing it for some laid back couch sessions. But you think there's any link to refer to for deactivating Crosssave for a specific platform and being able to go back to your main one?

    Playable… - old

    I have the opposite problem. I’m trying to use my XBOX account in the Destiny companion but it keeps bringing up my steam account. I deleted the steam account and crosssave and now I cant access my characters at all. I guess I wont be needing the app anymore…

  • I'm guessing your primary was steam? If so, that is why you lost access to your characters. I bet if you logged into steam they are there.
