I have to get over it?

I have been a destiny fan forever. Destiny 1 took over my life, followed by a small break then getting back into the game on pc(the first time). I got the forsaken on battle.net and loved the grind again. My pc was basically a toaster with some wires and potatoes so that ended just how you'd think it would. I've come back to pc again after going back to console and i bought beyond light with shadow keep even more motivated with my new pc and cross save. Just to find out there's now way for me to get my forsaken dlc. meaning i would have to spend mo money which means mo time at work and in the end its just mo disrespect for the fans that have supported you since before there was a settings option in the game.

  • There was a 14 month long period to transfer characters and dlc from battle.net to steam which ended over a year ago that the emailed everyone multiple times about. There is no lo-blam!- a way to transfer these things as bungies partnership with activision/blizzard has ended. On top of that much of forsaken is being removed with the launch of witch queen in February. There is a forsaken pack witch you can purchase that runs for around $20 US that will give you access to the activities from the dlc that are staying in the game.

  • 1. How is this robbery? 2. Both blizzard & Bungie gave people 14+ months (way more than enough time) to take about 10 mins to transfer your dlcs/game data/characters/etc from battlenet to steam. If you failed to do that in the given timeframe, then that’s on you (not Bungie).

  • While on battle.net you purchased a license to access forsaken through the battle.net platform, not through steam. There was a period of over a year where players could transfers their license from battle.net to steam, something that has since ended. You're not being robbed of anything and it's not a disrespect on anyone.

  • The migration period from Battle.net to Steam ended on December 1, 2020, and can't be extended or turned back on. It's now impossible to transfer your account, purchases, and characters over. From September 2019-December 2020, many emails, social media messages, and in-game notices were sent out to inform players that this was occurring. Destiny 2 is now free-to-play, and the Red War, Curse of Osiris, and Warmind campaigns and content were added to our Destiny Content Vault. For more information, visit http://www.bungie.net/Vault2020. If your account wasn't migrated over, you will have to create a new account on Steam with new characters if you'd like to play Destiny 2 again.
