Happy new year and 2022, also bungie 24 exotics left without catalyst, here's some ideas hoping to get those catalysts sooner part 2
13, Truth – bad dps, bad total damage, were only used because of tracking (before gjally and eyes).
Catalyst gives tripod (magazine increased to 3, like in Destiny 1)
Also could add Rangefinder to the weapon.
Bonus stat +15 reload speed (and maybe total amount of rockets in reserves increased to 9)
14, Xenophage – always tought highly explosive would be unstoppable.
Give this weapon Overflow, i remember overflow doubling machine gun magazines, xenophage has 13 in mag, 26 in reserves, seems like perfect and it needs ammo unlike reconstruction.
Add unstoppable rounds to this weapon (high-powered explosive ammunition!!!!).
Also if possible as a secondary perk Vorpal could be useful against champions, and it got nerfed so yeah, 10% against champion would be a nice bonus.
Bonus stat +32 reload speed (it always felt slow).
15, The lament – it’s already a shredder, but it’s also a healing sword, but not in harder content, swords are still risky. Name: Defensive nanites/Reflective blade
The catalyst gives this weapon passive guard (50% damage reduction from enemies close to user) and maximizes guard stats (efficiency is already max, but it maxes out Guard resistance and Guard endurance).
Stronghold is good because it heals but it’s not very safe and i would like to use this in GM nightfalls even when passive guard is not around, i remember tanking unstoppable shots up close while reviving teammates or getting the champions attention in small tunnels/areas, getting revives, messing around etc.
(it was without stronghold never used it, and with falling guillotine only, still fun)
With the glaive supposedly granting great protection to get up to a hive guardian and his ghost there’s no excuse this can’t be done.
Bonus stat +12 in ammo capacity (up to 70)
16, Eyes of tomorrow – uhm gambit nightmare, nerf gambit heavy ammo, still can melt primeval with supers and special ammo. Name: Last chance/Lucky bomb
When on the last round of shot (1 in magazine, 0 in reserves), if the last shot activates adaptive ordnance (or get a multikill, or just activate adaptive ordnance) you are granted 1 more rocket in magazine (or reserves) and to counteract spamming you also get a Debuff (misfortune/unlucky or out of luck) for 60 seconds and cannot get another ammo while debuffed.
Would make a better ad clear weapon since it’s bad against bosses.
Bonus stat +19 reload speed.
17, Salvation’s grip – no damage rework could make crystals detonate themselves instead of despawning, or do that with a fragment.
catalyst should count stasis ability kills for progress. Name: Chilly/Frosty/Cold winter
Fully charged shots also fire a bunch of stasis mines around the target (possibly it could also generate snowballs on stasis break, feels like snowballs and stasis mines are going to be fragments released in 4th season of witch queen)

Bonus stat +18 reload speed.
18, Cloudstrike – it’s a rapid fire frame, not a fan of them and rewind rounds doesn’t even work with divinity. The problem when used against champions is there’s not enough ammo and sniper nerf in shadowkeep didn’t help them, divinity+ cloudstrike against overloads was a thing.
Catalyst should add Fourth time’s the charm (11 in 1 mag) Or Triple tap (10 in 1 mag).
Bonus stat +14 reload speed.
19, wavesplitter – trace rifles have bad dps, Name: Oversized battery
Hold reload to enter a charging state where you can collect orbs of light for more damage similar to explosive light and star eater scales.
You can collect a total of 35 orbs (2% damage increase per orb) and hold reload to activate damage buff (supercharged battery), which adds this damage to wavesplitter’s base 30% (level 3 form).
It’s not an excuse since ager’s and coldheart has a 80% damage buff, base 30% + 70% max would only double the damage and trace rifles are bad dps anywhere so legendary trace rifles too could use a pve buff.
Bonus stat +56 increase in magazine (or + 14 handling)
20, Jotunn – pvp nerf to tracking pls. Name: Ymir’s might
With how it 1 shots in pvp and in pve it’s bad, The catalyst can give it a 30% Debuff (technically activates melting point on impact that doesn’t stack with other debuffs).
If possible unstoppable for this weapon could be useful, but not necessary.
Bonus +19 reload speed.
21, Le monarque – only popular because of overload other than annoying in pvp.
Name: Poison overdose/butterfly’s curse
Consecutive precision hits increase the damage of the poison, similarly to necrotic grips.
Could also spread poison on death, but not necessary.
Intrinsic overload for the poison would be nice, but also not necessary.
Bonus stat +19 stability
22, devil’s ruin – just want to use it against champions.
-Vorpal weapon so i can get more damage against unstoppables and the aim assistance/damage falloff at mid range is horrible, albeit still possible to stun from across map if you get off 1 lucky shot.
-also Subsistence (i don’t mind if it doesn’t work with the charged shot, subsistence for normal shots and ad clear would also be good)
Bonus stat + 26 reload speed (champions are un-stunned after my reload, nooooo)
23, Divinity – to save ammo we just tap the trigger, also bungie doesn’t like regenerating ammo, also don’t change dps so here:
Lead from gold would be really helpful. (maybe intrinsic trace rifle scavenger)
Bonus stat + increased ammo reserves to 999 (the magic number, remember when sweet business had 999 ammo, we need this.)
24, Tarrabah – would have been more useful if the charge didn’t reset every time, which forces us to use Tarrabah only, no heavy, no special, this is bad.
Name: Self restraint/Caged beast
This weapon stores(doesn’t lose) charge when stowed. (maybe gain charge at a slower rate when taking damage)
If it’s fixed or not Subsistence would pair really well with ravenous beast. (maybe along with firmly planted or perpetual motion.)
Could have unstoppable or overload added to ravenous beast
Bonus stat +12 stability
