leviathan's breath needs a reserve increase buff.

c'mon bungie this weapon will never be a dps weapon, and it's way less popular against unstoppables. it doesn't even deal full damage on champion stun. If it's to be used in grandmasters or anywhere with unstoppables we are going to need way more ammo to stun and kill them with the bow. the knockback is equaly useless and don't mind if it's removed.

  • It's not a dps weapon, people should stop trying to force their will on the devs. The knockback and aoe indicate more of a crowd control weapon with stagger. It was specifically designed to stop unstoppables and interrupt bosses. Next season without any weapon favoring damage mods it might see more use. I think the only thing that needs to be fixed is the stun damage as that doesn't seem to have been corrected yet.

  • Leviathan breath needs a major buff in damage. With how long it takes for you to fire a shot, that shot better be worth the wait. But it is not. I love using bow. But every time I use LB, it pisses me off. Buffs that I think should be implemented on LB 1. 30% increase in overall damage 2. 50% increase critical damage 3. Reduce flinching when bow is fully drawn 4. Increase the time you can hold onto an arrow when it’s fully drawn. 5. Increase the reserve by 5.

  • It should work on all champions. The arrow should go through barriers. The AoE should overload and stun unstoppables.

    • 12 or 17 arrows is another one of Bungie’s biggest jokes. Useless bow, no matter what you do to it. You know it won’t get infinite ammo

      No amount of reserves will matter if it can't get its DPS numbers out fast enough. It's just too damn slow.

      • Give it a perk “2 outta 3 ain’t bad”, stuns overloads and unstoppable champions. Same draw time etc, just make it stun overloads as well and people will use it.

      • Its in the backseat now due to the lineair fusion meta this season. It has always been a great weapon. Pretty low dps, but a high amount of total damage and has an incredible ease of use. It can also stunlock enemies/bosses. It doesnt need the hate it gets.

      • I agree. I like using it (I have the catalyst done too), but it needs work. It needs a major damage increase to even be competitive with weapons like Sleeper, considering the slow draw time - fire rate and the fact you have to get a Critical Hit to maximize damage make ti just another under powered exotic, of which we have too many. Secondly, regardless of the intrinsic properties (i.e. it stuns Unstoppables), if I put a relevant mod on (i.e. Overloads Bow mod) for an exotic, I should be able to run both at the same time and use it for double duty. That should apply to any Exotic too.

        • Honestly it could be a special weapon. Its dps is closer to a slug shotgun than anything else

          • It needs something else for sure. Archers tempo added like 2000 damage, AKA essentially meaningless, to the DPS

          • they addressed this with the catalyst, and it does decent damage - we 6 stacked it in a VOG and almost one phased. But, like 1K, they had to limit the ammo and the charge/drawback time so that it wouldn't be op
