Hey,
So I just went into a crucible match, Control, and went up against an entire team of players ranked as legend on Destiny Tracker. These players appear to be going into matches and never capturing zones, I don't know if they are doing this so that they aren't put into higher difficulty matches but it seems kind of off that six legend players can all be in a fireteam and get matched with people that are mostly silver and bronze. I know that SBMM isn't a thing in Quickplay but it does feel a lil odd, just saying.
I don't know if these players are or aren't using this as a way for easy wins, they might be doing no zone capping as a form of challenge, but with how easy they are all stomping through normal quickplay it just feels odd that they are getting into matches with silvers. I've checked their history, in a fireteam so I can see all their stats by just looking at one, and they are just stomping everyone and Tracker is always saying "this team has one hundred percent chance of a win". Like every time.
IDK, felt kinda off and I wanted to see if anyone else had experienced something like this in Quickplay as well?
Kind regards,
Ruse-13

Sounds like you just got beat by a better team that you probably shouldn't have matched with, but that's QP. It's supposed to have that result sometimes.

5 RepliesNope what your experiencing is just a one off awful group, they come around periodically.

I wouldn’t say it’s an exploit seeing as how they’re legit just not playing objective. Is it cheap and annoying to stat pad? Absolutely, i have a legit 1.47 K/D from solo queue. If I went on LFG and did what they did I could easily reach a 2.0+ but that’s just not fun imo. If you don’t care about your stats and don’t feel like getting railed just leave lol that’s what I do these days, I don’t have time. 9/10 the teammates you get matched with won’t be good enough to compete against a 6 stack of stat -blam!-.

No. But what they are doing is toxic, and how a lack of skill-stratification can destroy a playlist.

No, this is a huge reach.

No cap is a way to make it more fair for those that need the zone advantage, KD Farm and ELO Farming. It actually gives the other team a chance to catch up as each of their kills count as three to 1 for the no cappers. Issue is a lot of solo players do t use LFG to stack up and get stomped as a result.

2 RepliesIf I'm running IB stacked and trying to not mercy so I can complete my bounties, then I won't cap zones. Idk why bother in regular control.
