Depths of the Archology (Titan Raid idea) part 2

Third Encounter: [spoiler]. After the portal opens the Fireteam must venture through. Once this happens, they are sent to a new area, called The Watcher, here they will face their first boss. The area is the taken realm. In front of them is a platform with a hive portal behind it, to their left is a taken wall. And to their right is another portal. On the main platform is a glowing orb (looks like the Toland orb) if a player walks over to this the encounter will start. The (main) portal opens and a small taken figure walks out. Sol’ane, Worms Watcher. You then realize that is a taken version of the Vendor, Solane. The fight begins and she fires taken blasts at you and fireteam. With these blast you must have her hit the unlit portal to your right. When this happens three player must go through. Team 1. Three players stay in the boss room. They must kill ads and not die. After 1 minute Sol’ane will raise her hands and a taken orb appears. The three players must shoot this orb and destroy it before it wipes the team. Destroying the orb staggers Sol’ane which makes her leave through the portal she came from. When the orb is destroyed it blasts open three spots in the wall to your left. These spots contain a purple field which gives the, Taken Unrest buff. This allows any player with it to pass through the taken barrier. Once through the barrier there will be a Taken blight. Killing this drops a new field which grants the, Taken Respite buff. Once picked up floating platforms appear. Jumping on these causes a shrieker to spawn. Once at the top of the barrier, a taken orb awaits. The taken orb allows you to deposit your, Taken Respite buff. After depositing the barrier falls. Team 2. After jumping through the portal the team finds themselves on a forgotten rig out in the ocean. To their left is a huge hive growth, to their right is a mess of Taken infested containers, and in front of them is another portal. Immediately Two Blights form on ether side of the Rig. Killing these spawns a yellow bar taken Knight. If left allow it will spawn another blight that pulses, after 30 seconds it will wipe the team. Killing this Knight drops its sword. One player must pick it up. Once picked up it spawns a two yellow bar wizards with shields only the sword can break. After killing them, they each drop a pool that grants the, Taken Unrest Buff. With this buff the two players are able to see floating platforms. At the top of the platforms are two crystals. Picking these up gets rid of the Taken Unrest Buff. While the two players are getting the crystals the third player must kill a yellow bar taken wizard. When the two crystal players are back on the ground, by this time Sol’ane will have come through the main portal. Her hand begin to glow, a taken orb spawns above her head, if her hands reach the orb the team wipes. Using the crystals you must shoot her hands before they reach the orb. After shooting them Sol’ane heads back to her original spot with team 1. After this the three players head back through their portal with their crystals. When everyone is back in the main room, two pads begin glowing the crystal players must stand on these. They gain the, Supercharged buff. Shooting the crystals at the other players over charges their Super. Out of these players one will be chosen and will gain the, Darkness within buff. (this changes your super into a light/dark beam) After this Sol’ane arrives from the main portal. The player with the, Darkness Within buff will cast their super at Sol’ane, this will start the damage phase. During the damage phase Sol’ane will teleport two players into the taken realm. Here they must kill a dark mirror of Sol’ane, if their don’t they will be teleported back and the damage phase will conclude. She will keep teleporting players until she has a quarter health left. When this happens, she will float into the air and a taken orb will burst from her and fall to the players. One player must pick this up. Once done the player with the orb will be teleported into the taken realm, where they find a taken Sol’ane in a ritual. In front of her is pool of light. The player must stand in this cleansing the orb. Once done the orb pulses and sends a blast around the player teleporting them back. After this the player must dunk the orb at Sol’ane’s feet, this will stun her allowing for damage.if this is not done in time (45 secs after pick up) Sol’ane will wipe the team. After dunking Sol’ane is able to be damaged again. After killing her, her taken form cracks open and explodes, which drops the normal Sloane. Your chest drops with your loot. [/spoiler] Puzzle two: [spoiler]. After gaining your loot the main portal opens. Stepping through leads you to an open area. In front of you there are 6 portals. One of them leads to the next area, the other 5 teleport you back to the start. (Starting from the left it goes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) the 3rd portal leads to the next area. In next area, you find 5 new portals. The 4th portal leads to the next area. You find 4 portals, the 2nd portal leads to the next area. You find 3 portals, the 1st portal leads to the next area. You find 3 portals, the 3rd portal leads to the next area. You find 2 portals, the 2nd portal leads to the next area. You find 1 portal that leads to the final confrontation. In the 4th area you can find a secret chest. [/spoiler] Final Encounter: [spoiler]. You and your team step through the final portal. You arrive to find yourself on a desolate Rig in the middle of the Methane Sea. The rig looks to have been a hive staging ground before the Pyramids arrived. You find the rig to be about the size of entire Riven starting room (without any obstacles in the way) before falling. A hive plate lays on the ground stepping on it starts the encounter. After stepping on the plate the kill feed reads, “The Methane seas began to shift, a great roar echos through the sea” The Rig begins to shake, a piece of it breaks off and falls into the ocean. This revels a under belly of the rig. Three players must jump down. On the under side is completely Overgrown with Hive spores. By a wall of Hive spores are 3 crystals that are immune. Suddenly a giant taken worm erupts from the methane sea, Looming over the rig. Hive and taken forces begin to spawn, attacking the players. After about 30 seconds Mor’gu Oryx’s wraith, will spit fire onto the rig team 1 (top side team) must run into the flame. Once done, the players will receive the buff, Worms flame. With this buff the players takes continuous damage. The buff allows the players to damage the crystals in the under belly. Once all three crystals are destroyed the buff will expire. Once the Crystals are destroyed they will drop a taken essence. Team 2 (under side team) must pick these up. Once done they gain sight into the taken realm. With this sight they see Taken spores on Mor’gu. With their sight they are able to damage the spores and destroy them. While team 2 is destroying the spores, team 1 must kill ads on top side. After 20 seconds text will appear in the bottom left corner, saying, Mor’gu summons his Taken blades. Suddenly Two taken knights spawn called, Fren’yx Taken blade and Rei’zun Taken blade. Behind Team 1 a Taken portal spawned, team 1 must kill the knights before they reach the portal and Wipe the team. After the kings are killed they drop their Taken blades in a pool of Taken goop. two player must pick these up and charge the swords super in the pool. While they are doing this the other player on team 1 must ad clear. Once the supers are charged, casting them throws a Taken energy bolt at Mor’gu. Before they can cast the swords super, all Taken spores on Mor’gu must be destroyed. After all spores are destroyed text appears in the bottom left corner saying, Mor’gu is weakened. When that happens, two spots on Mor’gu begin to glow, the two players with the swords must cast their supers at these spots, which starts the damage phase. During the damage phase Mor’gu’s mouth opens which is his critical spot. During the phase two Taken essences and two new Taken spores on Mor’gu spawn. picking up the essences allows you to damage the spores. Killing these spores extends the damage phase. After the damage phase everything resets and both teams must rinse and repeat their roles until Mor’gu is at Two 3rds of his health. Once this happens final stand begins. In final stand Mor’gu spawns two shadows of himself on either side of the rig. These shadows fire flames at the team after a visual cue, of their mouths glowing. Two taken blights spawn that are immune. You must guide the shadows flames to fire on the blight. Once one of the shadows kills it’s blight, the shadow dies. Once both blights and shadows are dead, Mor’gu is able to be damaged. In the spots where the blights were destroyed are two pools of taken goop. Standing in one of the pools gives a damage boost against Mor’gu. After Mor’gu is killed his body shrivels up and burns in a burst of flame. Before the chest a line of dialogue plays from Mor’gu saying, “Death is only a construct of the mind, I will bath in the Methane seas once more” Directly in front of him your chest spawns with your loot, ending the raid. [/spoiler] The loot for this raid will be in another post.
