Yeah, I played something like that in Year 1. Gave me a revelation that making abilities water balloons or non-existent, creates the most depressing Destiny game anyone has ever played. “Primary gunplay” is nonsense propaganda from those who can’t master both, like you use them more than you think. Primary weapons aren’t a joke, they do the job as they were intended.
LoL this will be nothing like year 1.
1) Movement is still faster.
2) Primaries kill much faster now than then.
3) We still have Special Weapons.
4) 6v6 will still be a thing.
5) Abilities 3.0 in WQ will bring Aspects and Fragments to help with abilities.
You’re clearly overreacting and not seeing the bigger picture.

All I am saying is that Bungie is going 1 step in the direction of Destiny 2 Vanilla with the shoulder charge reverse nerf. If a company reverses a buff of something that was laughably mediocre in Y1, then what should you expect? Do you see the big picture of doing that? lol

Very few players used it anyway. Besides it can still OHK with Peregrine Grieves but good luck with that.

It’s nothing compared to the shatterdive quick surprise, yet, they gave it the axe for no good reason. Also, hunters get their ohk sticky grenades back, and guess what: it doesn’t require an exotic slot for it to work as intended.

It’s nothing compared to the shatterdive quick surprise, yet, they gave it the axe for no good reason. Who knows why they did it. My guess is because of Skullfort in PvP. I have always said this game is a Hunter Simulator.
