Trials/PvP will be more simple, fun and fair with these change (and more new player will try it and keep playing it)

List not in any particular order of priority or importance. This is ONLY about PvP, do not argue about how these changes could impact PvE (my logic is that most of these changes should be implemented only while playing PvP content). - Drop the argument against most PvP changes that "if Bungie implement X the queue times will be longer"... Yes they will at the beginning, maybe, but if the change makes the PvP more enjoyable player will stick to it more (and not just for the pinnacle drops and triumphs) and the queue times will improve. I do not know many people that play PvP because they simply enjoy playing it even when no rewards are possible, no catalyst to drop/complete, pinnacle drop already got, no triumph or quest to chase, just plain PvP. - No button to access the solo queue of a gamemode. Enqueue the players based on if they are in a team or not. Right now there is one extra UI element with no usefulness except for people that like to try 2+1 vs 3 from time to time. When a random guy joins with my 2-player team it is usually someone who clicked on the big button by error without reading. - Changing mods should be free. If I want to experiment funny builds or simply adapt to a different weapon type I should not have to farm glimmer from time to time to change a mod. - Mic should be on by default when joining solo. Destiny is out-of-the-box set to Manually Opt-in. - SB+Connectivity MM should be a must in Trials and Ranked. The whole argument against it is comes from high skilled players who likes to stomp noobs. - Longer queue times should not be a problem if the match is more fair. - Solo queue trials. I didn't get flawless, I never did (and probably never will), I do not have enough time.... but at least I enjoyed the matches. I had a fighting chance instead of being no-scoped constantly. - Light level advantage should be disabled in any PvP mode. Head-cannon duel with a guy: I got the guy at 1 pixel health bar, he is 1330... I'm 1328, he later killed me.... THIS IS NOT SKILL, this is just a week or two of play more than me... Playing more should only be an advantage because it gives you the chance to get better weapons and armor. If two player have the same damage output and health but one guy is 1 light level above the other, it should not matter. - Disable any form of aim assist. I'm not talking about console aim assist. I'm talking about the innate weapon stats. My shots should go where I'm aiming at, and if my aim is bad I should simply miss. - I can display my FPS. Please give me a way to also see my frametime, ping and rtt. I should not have to install 3rd party tools to do this. Also give me an option to log these stats to a file. - There should be a toggle to remove PvP announcement. Shaxx/Saladin/Saint are really fun and 99% of the time I keep them on, but when I need to focus I like to disable them... And having to turn off the Dialogue volume is ok but a dedicated toggle would make more sense. - Disable crouching, movement, emotes and shooting as soon as the match is over. I know it is a really dumb thing, I personally do not care about tea-bagging or shooting at an enemy ghost post-mortem... but I know a lot of people that do it out of spite or trigger when they are on the receiving end. It is a really minor problem, but the fix would be so easy that IMO is worth it. - Dedicated server, make the ping threshold stricter or tune down lag compensation. I have a VERY GOOD internet connection, but at least once per match I get killed (from incoming shots, not splash damage, AoE effects or any abilities) while I am waaaaaay behind a cover. It is always "funny" to die and see your ghost spawning completely behind a wall. - Looking at "% of Flawless" is not a good metric to judge if changes proposed in the trials lab are a good or not. Also this stats should be published every week, by Bungie not by looking at external 3rd party sites. --- The quality of a match should also be considered --- How many players tried to join trials for the first time and stopped after few matches or as soon as they got the pinnacle drop --- How many players overall --- How many new players returned to try trials the next week --- The average winrate - Do you want to improve "% of Flawless" Bungie??? Next lab make the flawless requirement be 6-consecutive wins. - Let me disable cross play when I want. - Team composition should match. A team of 2 player + 1 random should go against only team of 2 player + 1 random. 3 random against 3 random. Full team against Full team.
