Hello there, Unfortunately, for security reasons, if players disabled their Cross Save for any reason they will have to wait out the 90-day lockout before they can enable Cross Save again. There are no exceptions to this policy. https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Troubleshoot?oid=48099

  • Thanks for the Quick response! Would it be possible to move my character to the Steam account at least? I just didn't know that they were saved on my my playstation account since I enabled crossplay and I thought it would be fine. Like I said I can provide identification and verify everything. Please let me know.

  • After spending a few days looking around for a possible fix I'm sort of heartbroken about the situation. I understand that these policies are put in place to limit account abuse and I wouldn't dare try to tell anyone at Bungie how to do their job. This was, however, a complete mistake and I'm a little stunned there isn't an avenue to fix one time errors like this and I have to receive a punishment for something I did not intend to do. I guess what I'm asking is- is there anyone at Bungie you could contact to rectify this or someone I can provide my info and screenshots to so that I can play my warlock again? I've purchased all my DLC through Steam and (rather foolishly) thought my character was tied to Steam. It's a really terrible feeling to lose a character that I have hundreds of hours on because I misunderstood the website and the cross save functionality. Please let me know of anything I can do to help. Thanks again so much for your time and I hope you have an awesome weekend!

  • If they helped you then they would have to help the next person. Sooner than later people would catch on and abuse Bungie's good will and then the whole reason for the cooldown period is bypassed. This has been done in the past forcing Bungie into a strict zero tolerance policy.
