Known Issue: Increase in Rutabaga Errors
A group of individuals discovered and reported an issue where players can generate more orbs than intended when triggering some supers. The team has been working on a fix for this, currently targeting December for release.
To prevent exploitation of this issue, the team has deployed some changes that will force Rutabaga errors when players attempt to reproduce the bug. With this change, we are also aware that players who experience extreme sustained framerate hitching in PvP environments may encounter this error more frequently than normal.
If you encounter Rutabaga errors when playing in PvP environments for reasons other than reproducing the orb generation issue, please respond to this thread with details on what you were doing when the error occurred.

I was loading into gambit, no matter my settings I get Rutabaga'd , currently have got 3 gambit timeouts, for getting auto dced. Don't care or know enough about the glitch to do it, just annoying any potential fix.

I joined control and got Rutabaga error in 30 secs once I got killed

i was trying out liars handshake with top tree arcstrider and got the error after a survival

Was just playing quickplay, casted my dawnblade. while casting, i dropped so many frames, i dont know why i did, but them I was immediately removed with the error. didnt really do anything special before. I really dont know what could have caused it.

Happent to me 2 Times in Trials wenn i was Alt tabing to juse Discord because i only have 1 Screen, nice. I have not Player today hopfully i am Not Bannd for jusing Discord in Game GG Bubgo

Happens every time I am in another window when match making. Super annoying. I have lost two flawless cards because of this now.

I can't even load into gambit matches. I just get kicked after the opening cutscene

I have not been able to load into either gambit or crucible. Gambit stops after drifter announces the enemy and crucible as the team loads in.

I loaded into a Gambit match that was already in progress, so I assume somebody else had been booted. Did not alt+tab at any point. Made it through the loading screen, character spawned in, took one step and immediately got booted to orbit. I did not receive a rutabaga error, just a connection warning, which is not issue, and a match abandoned warning.

Glacier nade + shatter dive = instant frame drop and kick to orbit.

I just got a rutabaga message and I don't know what it was for. I was playing in trials and as soon as the match was over I had a message with the word rutabaga on it, but I clicked it off too fast assuming that it was another message from shax.

I saved a clip using geforce and it kicked me out of a game. Said something about too many dropped frames.

was playing trials and my second monitor disconnected then it came back and it kicked me from my trials game

Just alt-tabbed to windows for a few seconds and got kicked out of trials and banned of competitive game modes... Fix this please!

Well i wanted to play some gambit when i was loading into it it gave me the error code same as i was playing osiris i was in a match then my game screen was frezed der was denn for like 2 sec a black screen and then i was in the orbit with the error code

Was playing a crucible match. Then I went fullscreen (was playing borderless windowed), happened in the following game too. Then I went v-sync as well, happened again regardless.

I was loading into a Control match to record my gameplay with the GeForce Experience overlay. In the video linked below you can see I was in my Stasis menu and hit escape to leave the menu right when it freezes and then I get kicked with the error code. https://imgur.com/a/DhVC0hz Hope this helps!

I simply queued for a gambit match, doing nothing else on my computer and right as I'm about to drop in I get kicked. Queued 2 more times thinking the problem wouldn't be consistent. Now I'm suspended from gambit.

I was in the 1st round of my lighthouse game getting ready to play when my game stuttered for a second. got kicked and sent to orbit and couldn't rejoin. kinda removed alot of the fun from the game given that i dont trust these activities anymore if this is whats gonna happen. i would ask for a temp fix that if you get kicked because of this previouse activities that you cant rejoin you should be able to just to give you a chance.

I was noticing the game wasn’t looking quite as good on 1440 so I dropped it to 1080 and got kicked.

I was playing gambit when i froze for like a second and got the error as i was rotating to the new enemy spawn. The error said low framerates over an extended time but the error felt basically like it immediate kicked me the moment it froze. normally i can freeze for like 5 seconds and get back to playing or stuff like that or get booted to orbit. Well i wish good luck on the bug fixing

Have experienced massive slowdown whilst playing haunted sectors. Assumed it was due to the over population of effects etc. What with birthday party style explosions and Candy's flying around everywhere. No exposure during any slowdown incident of these fabled extra orbs of light though.

So I don't know if the ALT-TAB issue has been somehow fixed but today I was playing Trials match and I randomly got kicked. Right before the "Round Won" screen popped up I alt-tabed to quickly check my discord but then I got Rutabaga error. I play in windowed fullscreen if that somehow matters because it allows me to alt tab more quickly because there's no stuttering.

I just got on and apparently I'm banned from loading anything pvp related I checked my internet connection and it's fine but I never did anything to get banned for and If I did I wasn't provided with a reason to why I was banned
