I have been seeing an increasing amount of error codes since the start of Season 15. First it’s baboon, then baboon, then either weasel or canary. Yes, my internet is fine as I have an Xbox running smoothly. Yes I am connected to my wifi. Yes the wifi is strong. No I do not need a wired connection because the wifi is strong. Is there a solution to my problem when that problem is potentially not caused by me. Does anybody actually care?

I have the exact same issue, but my connection is fiber and wired to my pc.

I connected 67 different devices including phones that were new or just old, computers, TVs, school chrome books, every gaming console, tablets and smart watches all to the WiFi I use. Most of these devices were old. I made sure most of them were doing something like watching a YouTube video or on a WiFi required call with each other. I then proceeded to go on my Xbox and run a Vog (the most laggy raid ever) and it worked fine. I logged into D2 on my PS4 and it was having a seizure. I will not come to the forums anymore for reporting issues because nobody cares. This is not the help forum. If you weren’t going to help then there is no point in even responding. Although thank you to the few for the comedic or helpful responses. It seems like the moderators or whoever thinks my internet is the problem, despite ALL evidence CLEARLY stating otherwise. [ Bungie has perfect servers and whatever is wrong is probably your fault. ] is basically what the person who was supposed to help said to me.

1 Reply3 in 10 minutes? How does that work ? You play on console, right? It feels like you need 5 minutes to even get into the game 😅😅😅

1 ReplyThere are many places to try to troubleshoot your connection but this one is my favorite. Most don't show jitter and I feel it's important to know if the jitter is getting to an unacceptable level. I hope this can shed some light on your issue and you can get it fixed.

9 RepliesHi there. Each of those error codes are most often related to issues caused by WiFi. WiFi connections are generally less stable and susceptible to interference from other devices or networks. First thing you should do to troubleshoot this issue is to switch to a hard wired connection, even if just temporary. If the errors stop or reduce significantly, then you know the problem at least involves WiFi and you should stick to a wired connection. If the errors continue, then I recommend following the Network Troubleshooting Guide to see what else you can do to stop disconnects.

Edited by stovepipe73: 10/23/2021 9:10:32 PMWifi is going to end up being your problem. I would never recommend anyone, myself included to play Destiny 2 on any wifi no matter how fast it might appear. My golden rule has always been since Dec 2014 when I started D1. "I will never play Destiny on a wireless connection" But hey good luck. I just now saw your connection results and if 5 or 6 upload is to the nearest server tested then I'm certain if it has to go 1000's of miles it will drop far to much to be stable for Destiny 2.
