Bungie will never admit that they have designed a control factor when it comes to damage. We’re allowed to do as much damage as we want so long as it’s in there exact parameters of the sandbox for that season. You are not allowed to do high impact burst damage out of the sandbox.

That is true, and also fair, as if you would just delete any boss in an instant would kinda remove the "boss fight" aspect... Then again, on the other side, there's stuff that pretty much do that, like Code of the Missile and the exotic that goes with it, or Sharpshooter with Nighthawk helmet. (thought these are exotics and supers, so you don't really "spam them") I just feel like a 10-20% increased in damages for all Heavy Weapons wouldn't hurt them... (aside from swords maybe cause they seems to be in a good spot?)

Boss have so many ( IMMUNE ) stages that they are prevented from being deleted so I respectfully disagree. Bungie protects their gameplay by keep the plays in a damage box.

not fully convinced on that one, and also on this damage box. (considering plenty of bosses can get there life trew away beyond the treshold for their invu to activate, I have a clip I can get ya to show this point if interested.) (sure it was like 1 good alignement for it to work, but it shows what I mean) But either way, it's my opinion and feel about these weapons, and I respect others view on the matter. After all, we're talking about a game, and not a small one, so balance is definitely something difficult to control, and so far, they're doing good if not great at this.

I definitely agree that heavy weapons need a boost. However, after playing hollowed lair on GM … I definitely don’t think that bosses are being melted too quickly. At least not when it counts.

on that we agree
