1. Read your Software License Agreement. You didn't buy the game or any of its content. You bought a license to play the game. Bungie still OWNS the game and everything in it. Just like buying a blue-ray disc or download of a movie doesn't give you ownership of anything IN the movie. Just the right to watch it. 2. You signed a contract that you agreed that the game is whatever Bungie decides it is, and can change at any time. If you are playing the game, you signed that contract: "I Agree". So PLEASE stop claiming ownership of something Bungie NEVER sold you. Bungie owes YOU NOTHING for changing the game. Bungie never promised a unchanging experience. In fact the contract you signed clearly states to expect the exact OPPOSITE. Why are the doing it? Simple explanation is that Bungie is trying to get 8 years out of a game that was only supposed to last THREE. If Bungie didn't remove content this game would have grown to a size that it woudl be UNPLAYABLE on last-gen consoles. So do you want a fixed experience that is a DEAD GAME because Bungie can't add anything to it and still have it work? Or are you willing to part with content that no one plays anymore, so that Bungie can continue to add new things for us to do. It really is that simple.

  • If that’s true, then that makes sense. I feel like Bungie should just come out and say that rather then put it in a license agreement that most people don’t read, with the exception of you I guess.

  • That's the only place really to put it.

They did. How do you think I figured this out? I just put together the pieces of what they’ve been telling us. You can’t have a conversation if one side refuses to listen….and refuses to believe what they’re told. The only reason I refer to the SLA is because I get tired of this argument, “I paid for that content.” No, you didn’t. None of us did. What Bungie put in that SLA is copyright/intellectual property law 101.
