It's been a known glitch that happens off and on. There is no solution for it, but you just sadly have to deal with it.

Yes there is a solution. Bungle has to fix it.

I would rather them fix the bigger problems that are in the game versus something like this that just triggers my OCPD.

There are so many broken aspects to this game that they have let slide now for 2+ seasons. Pretty clear, they simply don't care, except if we stop buying.
