This weekends game mode for Trials is just AWFUL! In all honesty, I had more fun getting killed by 3 stacks in the previous weeks than this. I’m not a pvp God whatsoever, but I can hold my own for the most part. Now, on top of getting teammates that have 0 game sense, we get teammates that are more worried about capturing the point than helping out with fights. I really hope this game mode does not come back in the future,

6 RepliesI actually kinda enjoyed it tbh. Not really the fact that the zone goes into the enemy spawn, but just the zone existing in general. It forces fights, and doesn’t make rounds nearly as passive. You can’t just win rounds by farming super anymore. You have to push, or risk losing to the zone. It’s way more fun than holding lanes with snipers, and 10 INT setups

I'm happy because bungie ended up taking most of the sweats and cry babies out of their comfort zone this weekend, by forcing them to play differently and because of this, I visited the lighthouse for the 1st time in D2!

It's BAD. I know they said something about shooting for a 30% win rate or something like that. I'm at about half that and falling. 7 wins is going to end up taking a good 70 matches at the rate it's been going. That is not the kind of experience that's going to keep us scrub blueberries around. I don't expect a handout, but damn, This is way worse than the first two weeks.

This might actually be a permanent addition to game. What has Bungie been targeting for several weeks? 5-4 games… Glad I’m not in the trials pool…

Wait tell you get three titans with crest on lol

1 ReplyI don't do Trials, so take anything I say on ghe subject with a grain of salt. However, I've been reading all the changes this season and considered jumping in after first week was so well received, but when I read the control point idea I was just like "nope". It reminds me of the Comp failure in Y1. I was excited to try the whole Comp thing, but all those weird modes with objectives just added in willy nilly just made it unplayable. It was so poorly received that now Comp is only elimination or whatever variant is currently active, and now they are trying to rehash the same garbage in Trials. They really need to concentrate on Trials matchmaking and rewards and just stop tinkering with the mode itself.
