Hi. You may want to turn Push-to-Talk Off to see if that resolves your issue. You may also want to make sure that Mute When Not Focused is set to Not Muted, and Team Voice Channel is Manually Opt-in.

I have tried this and my issue still persists. I can hear game audio just fine, but not incoming voice audio. What should I do next?

Right-click on the speaker icon in the Windows taskbar, then click Sounds > Playback tab > then right-click on your preferred playback device and press 'Set as Default Communication Device.'

I have done this and unfortunately my issue still persists. This is a screenshot of what I see (top), and of what my friend sees (bottom). He can hear me, I cannot hear him. Both of us are playing on PC (Steam). https://i.imgur.com/kGlIUFn.png

What happens if you make the audio go through your PC's speakers? If that works, then that indicates that something is blocking your headphones. Have you adjusted anything in your Xbox Gamebar?

Bumping this topic because... I got a new router and my NAT is set to Open in-game, and the issue continues to persist. I did try having the audio go through my PC speakers. Game audio works but voice chat does not. No adjustments to Xbox gamebar.

Edited by Special Ed Dropout: 12/27/2021 10:52:40 PMI'm in the same situation, and have taken the same actions. Still nothing works. Please let me know if you got it to work, and if so, what steps you took to resolve it.
