Hi there guys. My best friend used to be an avid Destiny 2 player when the game came out four years ago, but at some point he moved on and found other games to play since he couldn't afford Xbox live any longer. Recently, I got super super into Destiny 2 and I really wanted to play with him, so when crossplay was announced, we knew we were ready to start grinding for the release date. I even bought him a full year of Xbox live so we could start doing raids and dungeons together, and we were super excited. This is where things begin to fall apart, when he logged into his Xbox account to check his Destiny characters, both of them were back 1100 and untouched when it comes to game progress, meaning during the last couple of years, all of his progress was deleted or wiped. We even tried to link the account to PC and once again, an empty Hunter and Warlock were sitting there. If a dev or something can hear me out, I would be more than happy to give you his Xbox name to see where all his content or something, but I don't want him to have to restart all of his progress because I am sure he loved his old unique character, and all the legacy items and DLC that he completed feel wasted now. Please help us find a solution, we cant wait to hit the Prophecy Dungeon together :(
