If Saint and Osiris started a relationship, I wouldn't mind because it doesn't affect how I play the game. I always knew they were close, but I never would've guessed they'd have a relationship. I'm not the kind of person who would be bothered by that. It's kinda sad that people let something as simple as an LGBTQ relationship between two characters in a video game get under their skin.
It's kinda sad that people let something as simple as an LGBTQ relationship between two characters in a video game get under their skin.
its not really that, its how they framed the two, as for years since D1 we knew they had a close relationship which was Framed as Brothers, like a Brotherly Love. its how that Bungie dev said it on only Twitter. that's why most people don't accept it. it wasn't shown in lore. Lore Gamers are "sensitive" if Accounts in Lore are not introduced in Lore. Take Mara and Edio for example. there's no problem there as it was shown in Lore. that's the big disagreement. -
I mean ultimately, who cares? It doesn’t exactly matter.

for the ones who love and enjoy Lore...it actually does. -
I'm more than happy to link you to a lore book that explicitly depicts instances of their relationship. The words are there it is simply the few who choose to close their eyes that refuse to see it.

Right, sure.

If you are interested in reading more lore about their relationship I will happily link you to a wonderful thread that the Ishtar Collective has gathered! To me, regardless of the representation, it makes the story feel much deeper to me- it adds that feeling of fondness, a simple detail that makes the characters feel that much more human and alive. I feel the same for the way Crow seems to have developed a crush for Amanda 🤭 these simple nuances are what keep me coming back to this game.

Crow has a thing for Amanda? I honestly never would've imagined that either. Sometimes it's the little things like that that can keep the game interesting.
