Excellent poll, though including the -64, and yes options for each (so we can see if there is indeed even a single person who claims to be able to run it on win7) would have been even better IMO.

Good points, though not sure how to edit the pool to add more options. I'd assume that there are people who can launch on Win7, otherwise we should see more people reporting. It is very hard to say how many Win7 users play Destiny, but if we look at overall numbers of Win7 users worldwide, according to Statcounter data for 2021 it is ~16%. We are probably talking about few hundreds of millions of users worldwide. An absolute massive number of users. Even if a small % of this number play Destiny it is still a big number. It is hard to imagine Bungie would be so careless. But I might be wrong. In any case, even if we are few hundreds or thousands of players who experience those issues (those who played the game for thousands of hours, and payed for the content) it is very saddening that Bungie taking days(!) to address/fix the issue which makes the game completely(!) unable to launch. I highly doubt that it is acceptable for the game/developer in 2021.

Very well said, although the game is a bit fair with W7 so far we could play, why now we can not? I played and I play Destiny 1 on PS3 but the last expansion no longer wanted to put it on that console to make us change by force to PS4 or XBOXone arguing that I did not have the strength to handle the new graphics, when they came to do colibris races of 6 players or more and without lag in PS3 that if the account could be transferred to PS4 then I am afraid everything is marketing and now it is the same for us to change W7 for W10 but the problem here is W10 consumes many resources and we will have to buy new PCs or laptops ;(

If/when you make your next poll, you may want to try to be as specific about the latest hotfix as practical, so it's clear what hotfixes have failed to fix it. Unfortunately, since we can't get to the main menu, we can't easily see what version we're on - maybe someone will chime in with a convenient way for most users to check their Destiny 2 version when the game will not run.

I'm not sure you can. But if we go another day without this being fixed... maybe it'll be time for another poll...? ;)
