Please let us edit our guardians face
Bungie, please let us edit our characters look. Having to create a new character just to change the look is so tedious.
Since we’re expecting more cutscenes with our guardians face I think this is a reasonable ask. Having an “edit” option next to our guardian at the selection screen that would take us to the creation tab could be super easy to implement. No overhaul or anything special just the regular customization you use when making a new character. At least have a place wear we can edit features like hair, face paint, exo accessories etc.

Over the years, we've slowly come to understand some situations here. These guys make excuses that made memes popular in the interwebs. Things like "making content is hard" just pops up everywhere. I don't know about you but I see this happening regularly. Lately, they're having issues creating PvP maps. Heck, they are making a ton of excuses even to bring an old D2 Crucible map back into D2. Do you think they'd care about this? It's not even a QoL. It's cosmetics. And the last time they improved cosmetics (Transmog) they asked you to grind for it, capped it, then make you pay real money if you wanted more. What do you think will happen here?

When D2 first released, I created my character the way I wanted and it was fine but since the "New Light" graphics update, my character's face is very awful. I wish I could face for another face or even change race.

I would love to be able to have an edit option, especially one that allows us to have our Guardian's faces back the way they were PRE- Beyond Light. Ever since Bungie forced new looks on our faces (that we never asked for!), I've seen so many more Guardians running around wearing helmets and so many players commenting on how they HATE the changes because it ruined so much of their characters. Aspects we'd chosen that were part of who our Guardian was and made up a sort of backstory to who they were in our heads was lost. Please, Bungie, if you're reading these, PLEASE give players the option to edit their characters as we've all been asking for for YEARS and please give us the option to revert back to our old look pre-Beyond Light! If there are to be more cutscenes, I want to see MY character, not one you messed with that I didn't want and don't like.

My characters an Exo and Bungie completely gave her a baby face it looks absolutely ridiculous side by side compared to a picture of what she used to look like. I hate it. Her horns got spread further apart, and her markings are completely screwed up (and that’s me describing it nicely). The metallic they added is pretty, but I’m wondering if it’s the metallic that messed up the markings. They made her eyes a brighter blue which isn’t bad but with how they changed her facial structure is why my first impression was that of a baby face. Her helmet never leaves her head now. Please give us the option to revert back to our old looks Bungie.

Im usually against Bungie being lazy but there are ideas that simply are good and some that are bad. I think them making a UI for the ingame bounty board is way more important than this (which hopefully it doesn’t happen) As well what sense would this even make just put your helmet on if you dont want to see your face the 1% of time you spend on a gaming session in a social space

5 RepliesIt won’t happen. If it does I’d be surprised. To be fair 90% of people just wear their helmet on everywhere. Not cause they don’t like there character but because helmets look way more cool IMO. :)

After the facial render change...well let’s just say several more things need to be changed (she went from good looking to horrendously ugly. Thanks Bungie) Thankfully my Hunter and Titan are Exos

Nothing new or special just the regular customization you use when making a new character.[/quote] I don't want to change my characters look but simply add to it.. it would be a lot cooler to.be able to change hair styles (or accessories for exos) add scars or different markings permanently.. or show our guardians aging.. or add a beard or color there hair

3 RepliesSimple, just don't take your helmet off lmao. Why would you ever take your helmet off anyway? It doesn't do anything for you, and no one is gonna be judging how your face looks if you do. Idk so many people are posting about this, there are so many more problems in the game rn, that this should be the least of our worries.

Why not have a Barber in the Tower. Where you could go and change the looks of your Guardian. Of course it would be nice to get more options for the character creation.

My warlock is the ugliest thing I've ever made the mistake of letting exist, but I've accepted thats part of her character. Even if I could change it, and God knows I want to, I couldnt do it. That horse-face has killed enough dark gods to earn my respect
