Bungie should bring (almost) all D1 Armor back into D2 as blues.

With Season of the Splicer, we finally got something we've longed for since Destiny 1's inception - transmog. As we all know, fashion is the true Destiny endgame, and finally, we've been given the necessary tools to accomplish that. Look, there's definitely some issues with the current transmog system that need some reevaluating. It's tedious, requires unnecessary trips to the Tower, and don't get me started on the cap. But, if Bungie wanted to make many Guardians very, very happy, they need but do one thing - re-release almost all armor from Destiny 1 as blue drops into the Destiny 2. Several TWABs ago, Bungie acknowledged that the legendary armor we choose to use is mostly dependent on stat rolls and builds, which is why they don't need to be legendary drops. Whatever drop we get, these days we evaluate it on build potential, not the drip. People have been begging for D1 armor to return since many armor sets hold a special place in our hearts, and by filling out the rare loot pool with D1 armor, blue engrams could once again become of value. I don't think all armor should come back this way. The beloved Iron Banner sets should make their return, but as Iron Banner drops. Raid gear? Well, I think most Guardians are hoping to see King's Fall make its D2 debut at some point, and the rewards are an integral part of it. But former PS4 exclusive armor sets like Long Tomorrow 9G, or the Speaker's class items like Mark of the Deep Stone Crypt deserve to be worn once more. You might be wondering "but what about Eververse?!" To me, the Eververse armor has always been about giving us looks that are far more ornate than anything the game would give you, or special looks like the current hunter helmet removing the hood from your cloak. This wouldn't interfere with that. I'm not gonna pretend to be a developer and say "this would be so easy to do!" because frankly, I don't have a clue what it would take. But I do know one thing - this would give me so many reasons to boot up Destiny 2.
