Every week we need to do these challenges to get the bright dust payout but we can only skip 2 overall meaning we need to do most of the gambit ones. It baffles me that we still are required to play this abomination of a mode which has literally no balancing or fixes to its many problems being:
- Motes being stuck into the floor.
- invasion spam if you are left slightly behind.
- almost 0 catch-up mechanics making it virtually impossible to win if they summon first.
- insanely broken instant kill mechanics that make the final boss a joke like the Titan sword and super.
- ridiculous heavies that you cannot avoid like eyes of tomorrow.
- no health gates on the boss so it can be killed in 3 seconds.
- blockers sometimes take a few seconds too long to spawn leading to death as an invader comes through.
- invader spawns are either too good or awful leading to an easy teamwipe or a spawn that takes the entire invade duration just to get to the players.
- it takes tens of hours of gameplay for one reset, like triple the time it takes for crucible.
- and no solo playlist so matching a stacked team is a lost cause.
I could go on and on.
Why should we be subjected to a mode with such a plethora of issues? I see no changes as it’s been broken since season 7 and got even worse after season 12. Just remove the mode or stop making us play it entirely because it’s clear that no effort is being put into it so why make us put effort in return?

2 RepliesIt’s not broken. Gambit is a sanitized version of the open-world pvp that you see in many MMOs and RPGs. What you are unhappy with aren’t design flaws, they are features. Open-world pvp is fast, nasty and unbalanced (as any EVE Online player). So people tend to either love it or hate it.

You forgot the inconsistency between matches, one match you can wipe a whole wave by yourself and the next match the lowest of the lowest enemy kills you by just staring at you
